THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So Pandora radio usually defaults to the last station played when you open it up. Except for here at work, where it keeps defaulting to a techno station. I was in the mood for techno one day just to zone out with, and every time since it keeps playing that damn station when I open Pandora. I even deleted the station twice today, closed Pandora, after each time, then opened it back up and to find it re-added the techno station, and defaulted to it.
I hate Pandora now. I used to listen to it all the time on my phone now it always skips songs randomly, stops playing them, and buffers for like 10 minutes.
You're talking like all you guys are getting ready to enter the baja 1000, and are building it around there.

Ross has airbumps, big shocks, etc, The most "racing" he is going to do is that little loop around Lobster's backyard. Adam (LI) built a desert racer, when he doesn't live in the desert. You go rock crawling. You plan on entering LM races next year, what percentage of your offroading will be racing?

You guys just talk about it like you guys have been racing a long time, racing is this huge part of everything, and you have a million races lined up, and that you're kind of a big deal because you're talking about racing.

My opinion. You clearly have your opinions like this on shit, so I get mine.

Chris, would you say weld on bead locks are okay for Someone like me? I don't race, have a welder, tire machine, broke as fawk, and wheel like 3-4 times a year like what you saw in September.

Or factory aluminum wheels with inner air locks
Or recentered h1's

If you're broke as fawk you don't need beadlocks.

I never lost a bead on my 35" MTZs.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah, I don't like the inner beads on mine, as they kinda defeat the point of having the outer beadlock ring (I have to run them at like 20+ or else the inner bead shits all over the place). But with the right wheel/tire combo it'd probably be fine.

Just a matter of how much work you wanna do.

If you don't want fancy tire choices and any more than 3.5" backspacing h1s are the best bang for your buck. But, most people want both of those.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So i should be able to see how the Modified class race goes at KOH this year, before really commiting to that as a direction for the build. If i think i've got a shot i'll build towards it, and if it holds up next season, FIRI.

So who's up for a road trip to KOH 2013? Sirius like satellite radio. Free beer for the pit crew.

im trying to make it a yearly thing. i went last year it was amazing. im attempting this year but finding people to drop $1k or so on a trip to a desert is hard to do. so if im around ill pit for ya
