THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I had my registration expire on my stock 2 door green jeep (never got a notification in the mail, and this was literally the 2nd day after it had expired...just hadn't noticed yet) and a cop pulled me over for the sticker being out of date, ran the plates, saw it was expired, towed it, and gave me a ride back to work. Where I was supposed to have been the entire time, instead of sneaking a trip out to dunkin donuts :anon:

Got a ride to the RMV from someone at work, re-upped the registration, and went to the tow yard and forked over $100 to get it back. PITA day that was

ive done that, same with my license. I forgot to pay a no inspection ticket and they suspended my license. Cop ran my shit and pulled me over. Told me a couple of friends, one to drive my jeep home and one to drive me home. He was a nice guy.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's the thing, you didn't actually change the way they build their jeeps.

They just now think that their builds are considered LCOG.

Which is all relative anyway.
"Ya, I have 2" of lift and 31's, I have a LCOG build!"
NO YOU DON'T, YOU JUST HAVE A SMALL LIFT!

ive gone close to a year and never had my regs suspended. Ive gotten letters in the mail saying i need to get it inspected.

It can happen.

Changing gears. What say you about getting rid of all my XJ stuff, and getting a JK and using that for mild wheeling?

As long as it's a 2-door.

I wheeled 2 or 3 times with a 4-door on 35s or 37s can't remember.

That thing was tough to fit down some trails.

i did both

FIRST EVAR TO FIT 37'S WITH A 3" LIFT BITCH! (and document it on the internet forumz)

and yes. its kinda dumb when people are like "ZOMG YEA 3" AND 32'S!!!! LOW COG BRO"

Or even more irritating are the people who go out of their way to post up in a LCOG thread, only to follow it up with "Not exactly LCOG, but...". Thanks for your contribution, buddy. What kind of attention whore does that?

Oh wait. :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i like how the tnt customs rig is advertised as a low cog build.

theres some nice work in there, but its actually a pretty average height for 37's. even a bit taller.

Someone posted up the ZONE MJ.

I was just saying mine sits about the same and I don't consider it a "LCOG build".

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

postsfromcarmelo.com would be funnier.

I've really thought about going through and compiling all of his posts. I really want to make a blog about it now.

Nope, would be a 4 door. Need space dude, 2 doors have nothing.

it is ~15" longer wheel base than an XJ. I think that would be acceptable, especially since my current trail rig has jack sh*t for a turning radius.

I'm gonna laugh my ass off when you wheel it and get stuck in a situation where you have to rub the Jeep up against a tree because it's like 1 million feet long.

Why get something bigger and more expensive to wheel smaller things?

What do you need to fit? Scuba gear?

Can't you just get a small utility trailer or one of those hitch trays?
