so we're implementing new software (that i'm working on) and transistioning WAAAYY faster than the manufacturer's recommendation. since we won't have DR set up for the go live, one of the big wigs just set up a go-ahead for a tape backup.

WTF WHY IS A TAPE BACKUP EVEN A REMOTELY GOOD OPTION? A few modern HDs set up in a good RAID config will be pretty much failsafe. this place is bass ackwards.

my facial hair grows in awkwardly. i get the stash and goatee goin on and they meet evenly around my mouth. but other than that i get thick hairs everywhere else with lots of space between em'.


i usually shave it completely off twice a week

I get fine but visible hair all the way up to my eyes and a couple freak beard hairs on the tip of my nose and I'll end up with a quarter inch long itchy beard if I don't shave for 4-5 days. Annoys the shit out of me.

I must be a caveman or something.

so i kinda wheeled the j10 the other day.

carburetors suck dick. it would run like dick at like a 20 degree incline. and then not run at all if i tried going higher.

i need lq4 before i wheel it
