Mark is correct.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just got a hesitant (but in the end positive) response on buying the guns. Apparently my father isn't thrilled about having a bunch of guns in the house but if they are out of sight and locked properly it's fine.

And I also found out that the shop I was going to buy the guns at is owned by a guy I know. Whooda thunk-it? Apparently that guy was in my father's office just this morning. So for those of you who buy guns... is it normal to try and haggle the price down a bit? I'm assuming yes but idk for sure... don't want to show up at this guys shop and look like a dick :laugh3:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

haggle if you can most will haggle for accessories. If haggling is unacceptable to them they will let you know form the beginning by reaffirming the price. Never hurts to try won't make you look like a dick. as long as your polite about it that is.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just discovered that approx 50-100 years ago, my house was 150 feet from a railroad track. I realized today that some odd looking retaining walls a couple hundred feet apart are the footings for the old river crossing bridge for it, several of my neighbors houses are built on the old right of way where it was cut into the hillside my house is built on, and the grocery store down the street has a strangely shaped parking lot because one edge of it used to border the tracks.

Always wondered why someone went to all the trouble of digging those nice flat plots of land into the side of a very rocky hillside. At least I got a big pile of 3-4 foot wide slabs of blasted rock to park my jeeps on :D

EDIT: also, the same tracks used to go through the old sturbridge village area and over to Palmer, where they connected with the same tracks that go by Jay's friend Nick's parent's place. The more you know...

curently replacing the wheel bearings in the frt hubs, only issue is that the old races are not coming out, thought on that i should do? reuse the old bearings or just say XXXX it and toss in the new bearings

Try welding a little bead on the inside and letting it cool, they should shrink a little bit, then pop right out.

there not moving at all

are you using a brass or steel punch? i usually remove with a steel one so i can hit it harder, just be careful.

this works wicked good. i got rusty nasty old gross been sitting at the bottom of a puddle for 10000 years d44 races out this way. liberal use of penetrating oil also helped i think
