I really should put this transfer case in tonight but im exhausted, i think i'll wake up at like 7 tomorrow morning and put it in. lets just hope all goes okay

I have never wheeled a jeep with a working shift linkage :thumbup: they're annoying to reassemble.

I had to reassemble linkage once, it went together pretty smooth and worked just fine until i took it out last week. lets just hope it all goes together smoothly tomorrow because the plan is to leave with sam around 1. I gotta do all the t-case garbage and change the hub. If i dont change the engine and diff oil and don't get those last bumper bolts in im not gonna lose sleep

My plan for Sunday is to wake up hungover, drive home, get my trailer, and drive 4 hours to somewhere in NY to pick up Adam's rig :thumb:

guys. if Adam can make it to RC I will help him swap the motor out overnight Friday night... if they haven't junked my old jeep yet. That 4.0 was great aside from the oil pan having a rust hole in it, and even that never stopped me, it stopped leaking oil at around 4.5 quarts which is plenty.

I am not kidding. Let me know if I should toss my hoist in the back of the MJ before I leave for PA tomorrow night.

Anthony, Mia and I are going to a party at her brother's place in boston. Were gonna stay over because I plan to get hammerfaced and Mia wont want to drive home late :)

Ken, don't worry about it. The jeep's in NY somewhere and Adam hopped in with colin and they're down in PA now I think. Ill just pick him up on Sunday, I don't mind going, it wont cost a whole lot in fuel, and he's got another motor he can swap in at home I think. the plan is I'll meet them in NY when they're on their way home Sunday afternoon.

Plus, you always get to be hero-of-the-NAC...my turn! :D

except those times when I left my 5 ton in John's front yard for like 8 months, and the time I stripped my jeep at RC and me and all my junk rode home with Johnny :roflmao:

the only time i had shift linkage issues was when i raised my t-case 2" and clocked it.

so i just made one out of heims.

shit worked mint.

I got sick of linkage problems so I bought an Atlas. Didn't need the strength or gearing or anything, just wanted nice linkage. Wish I had known about this fancy heim setup you speak of, I wouldn't have needed to spend so much!!!

I'm very glad I wore a pair of wind pants over my jeans to work today. Made the ride a bit more comfortable/enjoyable. Also remembered that I burned a giant hole in my sneakers with weld spatter or something and need to buy new pair this weekend. That's about the extent of my weekend excitement. Wish there was a pats game to look forward to on Sunday

And I had another of my crazy awesome dreams last night. Someone moved my car to a different spot in the driveway and I got annoyed that they didn't just ask me to move it for them. Why are my dreams so boring? :looser:

edit: and I like how whoever named the smileys for this site spelled weird and loser wrong. :twak:
