Were all the cars parked in the north end somewhere? When Mia and I were in the city a few weeks ago we stumbled onto the same set, or one just like it. Really cool

The movie is called r.I.p.d and they have the financial district closed this week end its was just blocks and blocks of trails and cranes and cars and stupid nice portapotties that has running water with a foot pump

Not motivated to do anything today. Even worse than that is that I have been asked to go to my brother's confirmation at 4:00 today followed by going out to dinner somewhere... so I get to miss the entire Patriots game. :smsoap:

i was drunkenly walking around downtown boston and walked into the middle of a movie set and their street of fawked up car and saw these beuties. i want to be the guy who make them like this

I stumbled upon that same site (minus the cars) two weekends ago. They had a bunch of cranes and other stuff going on, and I knew there was a movie with Ryan Reynolds being filmed in Boston, so.
I wish I got to see the cars though, pretty sweet.

Nope, that is not the north end, that is downtown, pretty close to Post Office Square.

Yep, they parked all their trailers for the movie "My Best Friend's Girl" with Dane Cook and Alec baldwin in front of my apartment a couple years go. One of the sets was on my street a couple blocks down. All that crap was in front of my place, pretty cool.

Fixed my tcase shifters and linkage. Works mint with no slop now.

New fuel cell ready to go with aluminum vent fitting now.

Front driveshaft bolts in and loctited.

Drilled two holes in the floor for water and plugged them

Prepped rear driveshaft for new stub, got durango driveshaft from carmelo.

Cut tubing for front truss. Gonna weld that on tomorrow and finish up the rear driveshaft.

OK, fine I get it. You can be member #1 now.

I'll be missing the game today as well, not happy about it. My mom and step dad will be there though, I had the opportunity to take one of their tickets but I figured I'd let them have some alone time together

I was chatting with my father earlier and jokingly expressed my displeasure with missing the game. He said he is glad I'm going to show up to mass and that he didn't care if I skipped going out to dinner.

I may order a sandwich and run home to watch the game at 5 or whatever time the confirmation stuff is done. I'm not particularly interested in going out for dinner.

Guess I'm not going to hit full left lock with my steering for a while. Hitting the drivers side coil bucket and it's trimmed back as far as I can go. Will figure something out eventually.

So I took a bike ride to the grocery store, beer store ("packie" ), and stopped at KFC for a late lunch.

I'm sitting here eating my popcorn chicken valuebox and this very fat lady goes to the counter to order. I'm not really paying attention, but I caught this line, which made me have to quickly stifle myself:

"So you wanted the 7-piece family meal?"

"No, it's just for me."

Also, I'm thinkin I should switch to drinking light beer. Yuengling gets heavy carrying it around in a backpack on my bike.

Just got home, nice little 4-mile round trip. Today's haul:

12-pack Yuengling cans
2.5-lb box of dishwasher detergent (I swear this weighed much more)
Bottle of multi-surface cleaner
2-pack ice cube trays
New sponge w/handle thing for washing dishes and glasses

Exciting stuff, huh? Side effects of being at home much more and not being able to put off doing 'chores' as easily. :laugh:

sometimes when i work on my jeeps at work i end up having both vehicles there, so i take my bike to pick one up the next day. about 8 miles with lotsa hills. gotta push the bike for about a mile of it.

brb going to pick up a large pizza and as many beers as i want because im not pedalin'!

Exactly. I can't buy it here and I have only had it in bottles therefore I was unaware that it came in cans.
