So who's got some new interesting music to check out.

I have ~90 minutes/day now where I can listen to streaming internet radio while on the train; and I have Grooveshark so I can build a station around individual songs.

Lately I've been on more of a jazz/fusion/funk kick. Garaj Mahal, Lettuce, Papa Grows Funk, John Scofield, Mike Stern, Breckers, etc. I wouldn't mind more things in that genre, or something completely different is cool too.

Not looking for metal/hard rock really...kinda need to be driving for that to work well for me. :laugh:

Trying to be a good worker bee and take more of my required training online. Figures the damn thing won't let me log in.

Today must be one of those days. I just spent the better part of the morning morning tearing apart the system/enclosure we use for drive debugging. It was working fine last night when i left the office but this morning it wouldn't detect any drives that I plugged in.

Just finished reassembling everything (after not finding any obvious issues) and it works fine again. :dunno:

Interesting you bring this up... I am using slacker radio for the first time today because Pandora no longer works with IE7...

I don't know those bands really at all, but I've been on a big techno/EDM/trance kick lately.

The Glitch Mob, Ratatat, Boys Noize, and a few other ones have been coming up. Crystal Method is in there a lot too.

Interesting you bring this up... I am using slacker radio for the first time today because Pandora no longer works with IE7...

I don't know those bands really at all, but I've been on a big techno/EDM/trance kick lately.

The Glitch Mob, Ratatat, Boys Noize, and a few other ones have been coming up. Crystal Method is in there a lot too.

lost prophets "start something" has been stuck in my cherokee for 3 months

lost prophets "the fake sound of progress" has been stuck in my j-10 for over a month now.



i simply don't get sick of them and every song on each of those albums is awesome

I made a CD with Lost Prophets like a year or so ago.

Still listening to it every day to/from work.

I'm glad Lostprophets isn't stuck in my CD player in my Jeep. A wire cutter would be coming out pretty fast if that was the case.

As I mentioned before, i don't think there is anything special about the lostprophets. I think their "sound" is too much like all the other punk boy bands I remember from those days, like yellowcard, story of the year. All the same band

you apparently havent heard much lost prophets

they sound nothing like those bands

way heavier no emo

i do like soty and yellowcard though
