They were just about useless when that technology was cutting-edge. :laugh:

I have not-so-fond memories of being stuck somewhere off the appalachian trail and cursing the damn thing because it could only find 2 satellites and then the batteries died.

Compass + map - declination = happy chris.

That crossed my mind.

I mentioned this one before, but it's right up there with the time that I was talking to a really hot chick at the bar, and freebird came on...I asked her if she liked Lynyrd Skynyrd, and she replied that her best friend had once gotten raped while that song was playing, so no. The next 8 minutes were kind of awkward.

Once I get north of Deerfield on I-91 tonight I'll be on some new ground for me...really looking forward to that.

Seriouser question. I'm headed south down 93 anyway. Stopping by Hudson adds an hour to my trip but if the timing works I'll meet you there.

Thought you were gonna be movin earlier than dinnertime?

I'm HOPING to be up at the campground mid afternoon. I'd rather not make set plans with anyone to meet wherever though because I'm sure I'm going to run late like I do with every single wheeling trip. When would you be in the area?

I guarantee I'm going to be doing last minute packing/working on the MJ Friday morning so I have a feeling I won't get up to that area until around 4:30-5.

I'll call either of you guys, or feel free to call me, when you're about an hour away or so and I'll let you know where I'm at.

Best guess would be no earlier than 1-2 PM, probably a little later.
