THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'd think it would still run shitty with a stuck injector. Would be pretty weird for them all to be stuck open at once unless the signal went to shit.

Yeah slap a gauge on it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

when ever, not like i can drive it. A friend thought he was driving a race car and revved it to the moon and dumped it into second...broke every yoke bolt off in the yoke.

Well the options are to drive it up to you later this week or next weekend or throw it in the mail. If you need it sooner than later I can drive it up to you.

And I may or may not have had to replace my yoke due to the same problem

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My u bolts plates look like a limp dick with the bolts tight so Ihave to take them off, add some bracing, weld bump stops to them, and my shock mounts. Then I should be ready for FC. Probably start packing tomorrow afternoon before work and majority of Thursday will be packing and giving it a once over.

What time is everyone getting up there Friday? I am shooting for noon o'clock
mine are chunks of 1/2" plate that everyone told me would bend double without bracing and nothing has happened to them yet, I guess they are race approved :laugh2:

I'm shooting for like 7 or 8pm again.

I broke the column shifter on my f-250. I had to shift it into drive as I layed underneath the truck with it running and the e brake on.
I've had to do that before, it really sucked. Sounds like you need to do a 5spd swap :eyes:

I did that accidentally in my 96 once, the XXXXing trans lag going into gear (because the AW4 was slowly dying and I didn't realize it) caught me at 11pm tired as hell coming home from work, I slammed into 1st at like 4000rpm with horrible leaf wrap and threw pieces everywhere...

Mine are 5/16 with lips at the end and don't bend a bit.

Brute force versus a little brain power

Can't argue with it if it works

How's that front skid?

Yeah, brute force is where it's at, it took me like 15min to make them without abusing my welder and they cost around 18 bucks for the pair :roflmao:

Front skid is... quick-release now. Apparently you're supposed to bolt them on with more than two bolts, who knew? :dunno: I crushed the one on my 96 in the rocks, not too sad to see this one go, though I had been meaning to weld some braces to the vertical legs at the back edge and maybe even bolt the leading edge on at some point.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Keith, those plates are 3/8, same as factory. I think the big difference in stiffness is that those are flat and the factory ones aren't.

Hope you get em figgered out.
