Probably gonna keep most of the cage as DOM donor pieces. Crossmembers, body, etc all getting junked.

Got your PM on the motor, you're first in line, once i pull it and go over it i'll let you know the details.

First in line after the way you've treated it? Im shocked :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Can I be last then first 4 hours apart? Cool!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Off to the store to decide between craftsman and gearwrench stuff, then hopefully picking up the air tools and getting that damn PS pulley off.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just ripped multiple feet of sill plate out of my house with a claw hammer... that I wasn't planning on replacing!

guess it's time to go to HD and pick up some bottle jacks and bracing materials so I can rip the rest out and replace it... it is under a weight bearing wall (theoretically) and I am going to take the chance to re-level the floors in the living room and master bedroom.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so when I hit a bump, even a small one I hear a jingling coming from the front axle.....are my hubs/bearings shot? sounds like change or crappy bells shaking

Sounds more like control arm bushings. What control arms do you have? Any RE superflex/johnny joint type joints in there?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

no they are skyjacker (i think) dog bones, the worn out bushings on them are what's causing the bad popping noise

had this problem on my old axle and pretty sure a new(used) hub stopped the noise

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

on another note....anyone want to do fantasy football? if so pm me your email address for an invite

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Task #1 for the day complete... did some shopping and my workbench now has lights. Task #2 is split between making beef brisket soup/stew/etc and getting my air tools from my buddy (who is conveniently MIA today ) and finishing that pulley swap.

I think I have to go back to sears later too. I noticed that the 200 piece mechanic set was on sale for $100 (normally $200). Figure I'll pick that up and get some other better quality ratchets and stuff if need be. Oh and walmart apparently carries mopar oil filters now, or at least the Plymouth store has them for the time being.
