THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Adam, is Carmelo going to scrap the snowblower if you don't take it?

My dad was saying the carbs are usually just gummed up.

If he's going to scrap it, just tell him you'll take it home and try to fix it and if you can't then he can take it back and scrap it. If you do then just give him $30.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So last night I found out that all of the other guys I was out clearing trees with on Sunday have horrible poison ivy/oak/something. I am the only one who didn't get it and was going through all the same shit they were. Guess this just verifies that I'm not allergic to that shit anymore. I got poison something bad once way back in elementary/middle school and haven't got it since (even though I have had a few times when I know I was walking through/digging around in the stuff.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I replaced the intake manifold gasket in my car today, it was leaking... it still leaks, because I snapped a stud in the head, with a $2 quarter drive ratchet. Wtf :bawl:

I can't wait to trade this lemon in for a truck
You wouldn't have these problems if "your oil pump didn't go."

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I planned on it but then my mom reminded me of a family party I'm required to attend, so no :(. Lamesauce. Have fun out there and I hope you all eff your junk up just in time for FC :D Remember, place first or DNF.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Pulling the gold jeeps engine/tranny tonight. Then the axles. scrapping the rest this weekend.Anyone need any interior parts let me know. I swapped in an 00 interior its in decent condition.
Dark black interior right? I'll probably need a few, such as the drivers side rear cargo side piece, and the passenger side rear pillar piece (the one by the hatch). Also the driver and passenger side kick panel pieces, and the piece of trim over the hatch opening.

Hey Bob, I want the center console.
Damnit, I was going to say I need it if its dark black. Do you care what color you have? Because I have a tan console you could have if I get the black one.

I think he said he was gonna scrap it.

That's what I think is wrong with it. I just wanted to make sure that nothing else is wrong with it.

I think i'm gonna pass on that one though. It' s a little more beat up then I want to deal with and needs more parts.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Dark black? as opposed to light black? :dunno:

And can anyone tell me if I'm making a horrible decision... I plan to drill and tap the PS box for hydro assist now while it's apart. Is there any reason a plugs wouldn't work (or the threads would fail) with that much pressure behind them?

I know the threads hold fine for people with a hose threaded in there but a hose would let the pressure flow down to the ram as opposed to applying the pressure directly to the threads themselves.

Is there any other color of black? :looser:

Just make sure the plug doesn't restrict the bottom fluid passage...that spot is thin to begin with, and even threading a hose in partially blocks the flow.

Having rebuilt two steering boxes and done the homebrew hydro assist thing...it is entirely worth the $250 to have PSC do it.

Have fun playing with yer balls. :D

UGH! I have to look at Bill's jeep all month!

It's a grand ol' time when you open the box and the silver balls are a little blackened and the black balls have the coating worn off.

Scott, hope you got a decent mic or set of calipers :laugh3:
