THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Im just gunna put my box in a box and send it PSC and tell them to make it cool.

As much as I (apparently) suck at this and it takes forever I would rather do it myself. Part of me is considering looking into what's involved in drilling/tapping it for hydro assist while I have it apart. If it's not too bad I might drill/tap it now and just plugging the holes until I decide I want to go hydro assist (if I ever do).

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I want a fancy spool valve thingy installed like Chris' cause Im dumb. Id rather also have it done right once and spend my time doing other stuff on the jeep. Ill also order a ram and cooler and other junk for my assist setup from them too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just ordered the tap and a couple plugs so I can drill/tap the steering box while I have it apart and just plug the holes for now.

Plus side is that I won't have to tear the box apart later if I want to install hydro assist. Minus side is the tap won't be here until sat so I have to wait until then to re-assemble it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If you need power lmk... you can probably borrow our generator if you want. We're not using it.
Thank you for the offer, but miraculously it was back after I got home from donating blood. :)

sweet. Offer stands for any of you other guys on here who I know won't disappear with the generator.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just bought a couple of these flashlights yesterday. Pretty sweet for $13 if you are just looking for an inexpensive light. I think the sale lasts through the weekend.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

SO we got a new kid at my work and I guess he worked at another store in the area, but he sucks. It's not hard to pull two products forward on a shelf, he does one, and then misses a bunch of shit. So I told him that he sucks and needs to go back to other store. Then I get called to the office and one of my managers tells me "Don't give this new kid a hard time like the others. His dad is a store manager at another store and his uncle is head of security for all Market Baskets."

Whoops

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yesterday and today were ridiculous, I am burnt out. The 2 busiest back to back days probably in the history of Giant Pizza. Not many people have power back so there all coming out to eat, busiest days I've ever worked, and I get to do it all over again tomorrow for 12 hours.

I replaced the intake manifold gasket in my car today, it was leaking... it still leaks, because I snapped a stud in the head, with a $2 quarter drive ratchet. Wtf :bawl:

I can't wait to trade this lemon in for a truck

Western CT got slammed in the storm, and 3 days later, this is what the outages look like.

thats what happens when the governor is from western CT. Everything east of the river gets ignored.

I'm unsure whether I'll even be able to fit a right-angle drill attachment and drill bit in there. HTF do you expect me to use a center punch and hammer?
A bit late, but center it with a ball burr or a cone burr on a angle die grinder. It also works to re center a started hole that is off center

Pulling the gold jeeps engine/tranny tonight. Then the axles. scrapping the rest this weekend.Anyone need any interior parts let me know. I swapped in an 00 interior its in decent condition.

yup. at least once I fix this little mishap I'm a bit more confident it'll fix my problem- the code changed from a random/multiple misfire to just cylinder 4 which is where the broken stud is. Still have a p0401 though, insufficient egr flow. Not sure if that's related but I hope it is =/ my sticker ran out yesterday, woohoo!

What year is it? IIRC it was pre-95 right? How bad is the front carpet section and the headliner? I need those.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

History lesson of the day!

VAM (which was purchased by Renault, which was then purchased by Chrysler) made a 4.6L straight 6 for the AMC line. They also put that engine in the XJ platform, which lead to AMC putting the 4.0L into the XJ.
