I realize you are used to lame ass transmissions.

Awesome transmissions require longer throw due to the size of their penis.

i was heel-toeing an ax-15 yesterday. i like driving stick, just not behind a diesel. hell, i think my buddy's tdi golf needs to shift to quick from 1-2, but at least its short throw. i havent driven it though.

I just put mine in first and not have to worry about shifting or even using the gas.

Do you think I'm bangin through gears going 1 mph over rocks?

not so much shifting, but having to worry about using the clutch. guess my argument doesn't really count because i have very limited experience being offroad with a manual.

although, you have much more gearing than a stock bronco 2 :rof:

even suncoast couldnt figure that one out, it was a chromo output shaft. he breaks the craziest shit. it it was a manual he would have blown up something.... the auto did last a burnout through every gear, into overdrive, and he snapped the speedo while shredding tire sitting in place. sticky ass tires + high stall TC and an attempted hole shot = busted.

Wouldn't be an issue for me, because I wouldn't ask my truck to do that.

I guess I'm just old and boring.

My first gear tachs out at 10 mph.

Fifth gear won't even idle until 40 mph.

How do I do this.

Yup. And it was awesome. Not all that much more throw than an AX-15 IMO.

Goddam I miss driving my XJ. I want that new shell but scheduling conflics keep coming up.

My truck needs a clutch.

400 HP 13" clutch with new flywheel rated for 15k lbs towing. $750

Stock clutch kit $350

That's a big price difference.

Your transmission feels 1000x grosser than mine with a slipping clutch.

I'm tempted to just get a stock replacement since it's so cheap, it will also keep me from dumping money into tuners and stuff.

Smarty is $650.

If I go this route, the 440 will definitely not be going in the MJ until the spring.
