She never went in the garage. She wouldn't even come in the garage to talk to me. She'd text me from inside the goddam house. For those that haven't been to my house, the garage is about 40 feet from the house. In the winter that means going out in the cold. But still. Call me old fashioned but it's not that hard to come out and have a quick conversation.

Sometimes she'd call, but it still got on my nerves.

I'm trying pretty hard not to type out a laundry list of our relationship's faults and what caused the downfall. Is it really any different than any other breakup? They're all at least a little similar, just varying degrees of drama and with which side it's associated with.

And now I want to play scrabble. I haven't said that in years.

And I prefer texts in some cases. If it's a high priority thing then definitely give me a call... On the other hand if you know I'm busy (or at work) and it's something that can wait send me a text. Even if the text just says "call me when you have a minute" it gives me a chance to finish what I am doing and then read the message and reply.

This would annoy me. I hate text messages for conversation purposes. A simple one liner is fine, don't hold a convo with me over texts. Call me, get the point over and then leave me to my work. If you are on my property you'd better walk to come see me and not send a text.
Plus, for the most part my girl spends time in the shop/garage with me.
