Thinking, but not posting, regarding lapping temperature:

Don't even get me started on cold lap and hot laps.

Perhaps someone else can use that in reply.

Yep, I knew he would be. I couldn't care too much about the TCU right now, Ken is going to be gracious and help me out with how to wire RF keyless entry to replace my IR system.

yea seriously... when we went to go get tim's buggy in my jeep, we drove through the woods for like 10 minutes then we came right back out onto the camping area, then found the truck. we were like wtf how did that happen?

But if it's a hot lap the teeth are going to be a little bigger and your backlash could get out of spec! :eyes:

even the jeepspeed guys say they wouldnt use deavers if they didn't live in socal.

apparently having a ton of thin leaves= a sexy spring, but they break more easily.

they just drive to deaver and go "yo fix mah shit"

i read that, i'm not too concerned. when i called and asked for em the guy was like "hell yea man we got em in stock come on by" i was like aww man i wish. :(

my only other alternative would be a bigoffroad spring, but i think i'll be plenty happy with the deavers... the racers tear their trucks up a bit more than i plan on doing..

I legit would not have been happy if I had ordered springs and had a shoddy paint job and cardboard stuck to them. That was not what I ordered.

Why would you be mad about getting extra for the same price?

Why would I be mad about needing to do extra work to clean up the spring and repaint them if I just bought them new? I don't know why I would be mad about that.
