I don't know how many guys here know him, but Russ (grocery getter) on NEOW passed away this morning. He was young, early 30's maybe. I never met him but I figured some of you may have. Fawkin cancer.

That's pretty shitty man, my cousin scott who's 23 was just in the hospital and they found a black spot on his lungs, really hoping its not cancer or anything serious.

Keep track of your dates and how long it takes and whatever. There is a big survey on NES about it right now. See here

That link is blocked here at work but I'll try and remember to check it out later. Depending on what the survey asks my case may or may not apply... idk if the fact that I personally know the licensing authority would influence his motivation to get my paperwork through sooner than later (or if that will even matter).

The SHO motor has variable-length intake runners; when they open up it's got the same kinda VTEC sound. :laugh:

Doing a little more planning...turns out a 2-door 'sploder has a wheelbase of just over 102", which is about where I want to end up. So if I find a junk 2-door to start with, theoretically while I'm building this thing I can leave the whole frame intact and keep the axle & leaf springs under the rear so I can plan around the tire placement and roll the thing around easily until I do the backhalf chop.

Russ was a good guy, and a member of DWE. I hope his family is doing okay.

Nah...between the computers being all XXXXed up today and my boss being out tomorrow, I gotta see how much I can get done by thursday.

Either way though, there's nothin going on out there on friday...the only reason to get there early at all is to claim a piece of real estate. I figure worst case is I'll do a half day and leave from here, still get there by 4:00 or so.

Are kenny and sean definitely in?

FYI the starter bolt that goes into the starter itself is a perfect replacement for a missing E12 bellhousing bolt

I don't blame ya. Its been so hot i decided to say to hell with it and fix the AC in my jeep. Now i don't have to drive to Harlan for the crawl with the windows down. 5 hours on the interstate sucks with the windows down!
