My XJ only has 2 speakers. I should get rid of the NIB/unused Infinity stuff sometime.


I just ordered some 5100s for my truck. Towing various things over the last 3 weeks (boat, 4k+ lbs of concrete, my XJ, etc) I've noticed a little sway and wanted to take care of it before dragging it all the way down to PA.

I can't listen to music when I wheel. I want to hear everything. I had it on for about 1/2 a Killswitch song Sunday just to prove the speakers worked still. :laugh:

my XJ is also my DD so.... but yea depends on what I'm doing. If you wheeling the beach, easy trails to/from another trail at RC, i'll have it on. doing hard stuff, i turn it off.

i used my XJ to pregame in the parking lot before going to the bar friday night, and we had people coming over to us hanging out.. you could hear it clearly from the other side of the huge ass parking lot lol

Firm, other than that I'm not sure. According to the tech they should be a bit harder than the yellow HD ones and only $38 total (all 4) more. He couldn't tell me the exact number without calling me back and it really didn't matter as it is an application specific version for my truck. I chatted with a few places and got an idea of what I wanted.

I have the soundbar in my attic. Just never re-installed it.

stock headunit pushing good speakers will be shitty. do a head unit first.

I normally agree with this 100% but I already have a blown speaker or two so speakers are coming first, no questions there. The head unit would be replaced shortly after that (probably the paycheck after speakers).

This comes in kind of handy for storing dozens of wadded up paper towels when racing through a shitstorm.
