I had a loose ground wire I found in 5 seconds, and then i forgot to put the coil wire back on.

Runs beautiful too.

I could definitely limit my ram by 1".

Sheep I can't wait to wheel with you.

I wish I still have plenty to do.

Not to mention the trailer still needs to get fixed. Due to that I'm guessing the soonest ill be able to wheel is the second weekend in June.

I went to my friend's graduation last week from the Coast Guard Academy. Obama was the commencement speaker. Those Coast Guard guys and girls definitely know how to party hard.

I picked up frame last week, and today I started taking my dad's wrangler apart.

You should have started taken the jeep apart first so you could have thrown large chunks of rot at that mofo.


So, today i got about 90% of the hydro assist done. Swapped out box and pitman arm, installed the psc pully on the pump and swapped that, made an axle side mount for the ram and welded the tabs onto the tierod clamp and got that in the hopefully right spot. Then made all the lines, installed the new shorter serp. belt and mounted the cooler (keith helped here ) and then i was told it was 10pm and had to clean up. Tomorrow after work hopefully ill have enough time to tie up all the loose ends and fill/bleed the system. The cooler is higher than id like to have it, but it justdidnt fit well anywhere else. Fingers crossed that it all sortakinda works!

-PS fender is caved in
-PS headlight bezel trim thingy busted
-Crossmember has scratches, dents, and a nice little bow to it
-Gas tank has a dent
-At least one rear shock is blown

Chris, question for you.

When you relocated the battery, did you send a ground wire from the battery all the way to the engine block?

I know that from the factory (for most cars I've seen including XJs/MJs) there have been grounds battery > body, body > engine, engine > battery.

Hell no.

Battery grounds to one of the seat bolts, and the engine grounds to a bolt on the shock tower brace.
