THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I painted them with duplicolor universal black metallic. Shits expensive but it looks awesome so its ok with me :)

I used charcol metalic rustoleum on the 98 and it still looks glossy after the winter def worth the extra couple bucks

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hmmmmm, guy selling the parts bike doesn't know if it even runs. on one hand I want to say "screw it, the bike's only $300.. if it doesn't run whatever".. the other part of me wants to try and get it started before agreeing to buy it.

I think I will check it out tomorrow.. if the suspension is in good shape I will buy it and hope it runs (suspension and wheels alone are worth the $$). If the suspension is shot then I might not buy it.

Worst part of this is that the most needed upgrade is probably the wheels and tires but I just spent $500 on tires last summer. Wonder how much I could sell my currently wheels/tires for and if I could make a decent chunk of change back.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

On 2nd thought maybe I will sell the XT350 as I planned (yes I still have to take a look at it, will try to look at it soon) and fix up the FZR1000 and just have two bikes again. The Fazer would be sweet with radials, upgraded suspension, and 300 more cc's but then again having a FZR1000 for a 2nd bike would be pretty sweet too. Would definitely be much better for morning commutes on the highway since its got a full fairing. hmmm

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Cooling system done and engine side wiring harness all set minus two grounds I need to do.

Gonna skip upgrading all the cables for tomorrow so I can get it running, and just gonna bolt the downpipe on too without a full exhaust.

Hopefully running by tomorrow afternoon.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

IIII went to the RCQ qualifier yesterday, bitches! I didn't get there until about 3pm so we missed the real good action but still saw a lot of good stuff go down in Devil's Den. A big plus is that the g/f LOVED it... whoo!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

well son of a bitch. Found out why I have belt issues on my shit. Apparently the water pump pulley that I got doesn't have the correct offset and is sitting just a bit out of line from where it should be :smsoap: Oh well, I guess I will just keep running my 'modified' belt :laugh3: just had to re-allign and tighten it down a bit and now the squealing I got is gone. Will just have to pull the pump and swap out pulleys again whenever I find a 3.5 turn Lock to lock durango steering box.

edit: and wtf is up with the rain. Forecast said it was supposed to be nice this week.
