Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Where would I go if I wanted to look up the P/N for the belt tensioner bolt (if it even has a P/N)?

I couldn't find a replacement anywhere today so I guess I will stop by the dealership tomorrow.

I know it's a M8-1.25 bolt but neither HD nor ace had anything long enough.

Mcmaster or fastenal?

Mcmaster or fastenal?

Calling fastenal tomorrow when I call the dealership.

I would rather try and find somewhere that has it in stock locally instead of ordering online so Mcmaster is a last resort. If neither dealership or fastenal can get it for me within the next day or 2 I will probably just buy a length of allthread and a tap and drill/tap the nut thing and make my own bolt.

Just want to get it done soon. I want the Jeep to be running in the next day or two since the altima is going to be sold on Tuesday. Wed/Thurs were supposed to be nice so I can ride the bike but I want the Jeep running by Friday since it's looking like rain. Hopefully I will have a new car by Friday but if not I would rather drive the Jeep than ride in the rain. Got emails out on a few cars now, just waiting to hear back from people.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I wish I had a keg of PBR right now. After drinking it on tap all last night I really want one now. Would go perfect with this bowl of pistacios.

 I wish my local bar still had it on tap. But they got rid of it for lots of different craft beers. Now they serve it in cans.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

We have a few bars that have it on tap around here, it's usually my drink of choice.

The bar I was at last night has a 'mug club' where if you drink something like 50 beers on a list they have then you get in the mug club and get to go to decorate your own mug that you drink out of each time you go to the bar and attend 'mug club' meetings once per month where they serve free food and maybe beer and such.

Anyway, the girls I was with last night were talking about it and I mentioned I finished the whole list but never got my mug... they didn't believe me. I asked the bar tender for my list to prove it but since I finished the list my 'card' was in the office and unavailable. So now I have a reason to go to the bar at noon next weekend, drink a few beers, talk to the manager about my list, get my mug to decorate, and eat $0.20 wings. :D

The question that came from me saying I finished the list was why the hell I was drinking PBR instead of any of the good beers that they had. I was confused. What's not good about PBR?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nice there's a bar like that by me. Not all of theirs are on tap though. The list is 40/40. 40 domestics and 40 imports.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The place near me is all bottles on their list, though they do have something like 15 beers on tap IIRC.

The other bar I like has 16oz cans of Naragansett for something like $1.50. They also have a nice lounge area upstairs so its a cool place to hang out, esp when it's not super busy.

Speaking of which, Naragansett was founded by one of my great uncles or something; he was one of the original 6 founders. I learned that one a few weeks ago.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So, my dad has mentioned it to me before, but he came to me tonight and asked if I wanted to fly to Las Vegas, drive to Moab, and rent a Rubicon and drive around Moab for a couple days. I keep telling him I would love to go to Moab...with my own Jeep.

Yay or nay?

Fuel system is 99% finished. Just have to pick up some threaded rod and some more hose for the rollover vent.

I cant believe I'm still awake. Also can't believe I'm not burnt out from 4 days straight of working on the MJ for 12+ hours at a time.
