THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just want to leave work and figure out what is wrong with my dumb axle.

Rockauto sells camber shims up to 1.5º so if mine is really out 2º on each side then I should be able to make up for it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Theres no secret to being healthy/in shape.

Stop eating crap, and go work out.

I weigh around 200-210 right now and am completely out of shape.

i eat crap. never drink light beer, drink soda and my workout consists of walking around work all day and i still manage to have a mild 6 pack.

be jealous

I meant for anyone that isn't like that

I honestly don't mind going to the gym. I feel great afterwards. Problem is I'd rather get my MJ done before I get into that routine again.

Fixed, as it applies to me.

I feel great after going to the gym too. Just not willing to sacrifice the time to do that right now. I feel better and get more enjoyment out of mountain biking. And it gets me outside (not that I've been doing that yet this year either...)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I also love and feel great after going to the gym.. It's just getting the motivation to start doing so. Once I start going I have no problem keeping up a 5-time per week gym schedule, just that first week or 2 that I don't like

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah mountain biking would be fun, I used to love that as a kid. I might try to pick that up next summer.

I don't care about having a six pack or anything. I just like feeling healthy. Plenty of people have told me I have the "perfect frame" for weight lifting and "getting ripped". Half the reason Kate uses me as a patient for class is that all my ligaments/tendons/joints/whatever are apparently large/pronounced/strong.

And yeah I know what you mean about getting into the routine Scott. It IS tough to get back into it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

riding a dirtbike compeitively is the best workout i ever routinely did.

some people say, "oh it's easy, you just hit the gas and it does the work for you" those people have apparently never ridden. it's more like wrestling a 220lb machine trying to avoid death

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Wait Colin, you just built your expensive front axle, only to find out when putting it together something is bent? Sounds familiar.........

But none the less, that sucks.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I would also love to get back into mountain biking. Maybe I will pull my old bike out and fix it up this summer and try to get riding again if for nothing else other than getting in shape.

and WTF work. VP of sales was supposed to land in Boston tonight and be on site tomorrow. Apparently he is around already and the regional sales guy was trying to set up lunch... except he asked if people wanted to go to lunch but never mentioned what time to meet. Now it's lunch time and I don't know if I should wait to go out in an hour or if I should just go eat in the cafeteria :smsoap:

I know seriously.

I don't think it's off by much, if at all. So I think the camber shims will fix it.

I still think the spindle is crushing the stub shaft possibly, so I'm going to try removing the thrust washer first.

I grew up listening to 80s hair bands (Bon Jovi, Poison, Motley Crue, etc.) as well as older rock (AC/DC, Black Sabbath/Rainbow/Dio, Deep Purple, etc.).

Still like all of them, but also listen to pretty much anything else that sounds good to me.

I tend to like music that gets me pumped or something. Doesn't even matter if the band members are talented or not, if the music sucks I couldn't care less.

I like my music like I like my movies. I'm not into it for some gay story or to make it me feel some sort of emotions. I just want to hear something crazy(movies I just want to see something crazy). Period.

That means I'll listen to emo music as long as it sounds cool. The rest of you are gay for actually listening to the lyrics, regardless of the music played behind them.

On that note, books are gay. I bet you people read books. Homos.

On that note I can't think of more than on emo band I listen to. Also, the ramones are awesome.

I never drink light beer, drink gallons of coffee, and eat pounds of red meat. Nor do I work out. Not only am I not fat but I could not be mistaken for a 130 pound high schooler:guitar::moon:

Carmelo, Dan Reis's status comments are hilarious...who is that kid?

N64 rumble pack up my butt while holding down Z with the AK-47 in Goldeneye.

I've never met him he's friends with some of my friends. If I remember correctly he lives in some far away state and they only know him through video games or something. I think some of them went to his wedding or something.

What are you doing tomorrow?

Wanna drive up with me to a dumb place in Lowell to pick up a hydroboost unit?

You're not the first person I've heard say this. I've never done it, but I can see why it would be. Even riding a street bike aggressively makes you pretty tired at the end of the day so I can see how having to deal with bumps/mud/dirt/etc would make it even more complicated.

Do race bikes really weigh as little as 220lb? That's impressive. My SV's wet weight is about 390 lb right now.

I'm pondering bringing my mtb up to Grafton for mother's day. I miss the trails near my parent's house. I need a bike rack for my motorcycle...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Riding offroad is definitely A LOT harder than street riding. I never rode competitively however just dicking around in the woods on the XT was enough to leave you exhausted after an afternoon of riding and such.
