anybody have any experience with aftermarket header for the 4.0? my exhaust manifold is cracked completely around where it meets at the collector and im debating whether to go aftermarket or to just go to advance and throw a stock unit in there

if you are a cheap bastard find a cracked one for free and ill weld it up for you.

mine thats in there now was cracked and its the one that glowed molten orange for the past few months and shits mint.

and it takes like 1.5 hours to swap them out with beer breaks

i dont like that lack of support that way.. i might end up welding a sleeve into the jeep side hinge, and running a shorter pin on the door.

Ryan, there's a.place on eBay that has em for like $115 to.your door and they are SS. Bump and i ran them and billy ran mine after I did. Worked mint, and they had a hot chick in the fs ad.

yes. in 01 they decided to XXXX shit up and make the exhaust way too complicated for its own good.

whats wrong with the 99? the pesky hairline crack? or a blown out fleximable thing?

where the two pipes meet at the fleximable thing, one of the pipes is cracked almost completely around. might even be cracked completely around i haven't really looked at it that much

Ya, '01 has extra cats in the header, and 02 sensors.

I too have an APN. I had to clearance the #6 tube like everyone else, but that was known before.

hell. i did a mint welding job when my comanche header sheared completely off. ask anyone who saw it. didnt even take it off the jeep
