im real interested to see how the wiring under the hood of colins jeep looks, i wish i could spend the time to cut mine down, i like the look of my engine compartment without all that bs, alsi like bein able to stand where the engine was

There's not too much that was cut out of the engine harness that you'll notice as it all just went either to the PDC or ECU.

The interior on the other hand, that's where the big gain came from. Barely any wires left. Gauges, lights, HVAC, ignition, and fuel pump is about it.

i think without the evap canister batt and airbox will make things alot nicer, i guess the wiring aint to bad

haha yeah I ripped that stuff out of my XJ. Made LOADS more roam.

Evap canister, washer bottle, vacuum bottle, condenser, and all the lines associated with them gone.

Made it so much cleaner.

I really think you should keep a washer bottle, there have been many times I've been offroad and needed to clean my windshield.

Moot point if your getting rid of your windshield, which I wouldn't.

I'm going to try one Line Mtn race with a windshield.

If it sucks that bad I'll junk it.

I tried one Line Mtn race with a windshield. Coal Bucket, July 2009.

I made sure to get rid of it before the November 2009 RCRocs race. It sucked that bad. I haven't missed it since. Goggles are the shit.

Wasn't *horrible* at the Uwharrie 4x4cross race that same year (see avatar), but that race was a 2-mile short course, one lap, with 2 big puddles.

Anyone here like Thrice? Artist in the Ambulance was the only album I had of theirs for a long time, til I found my old music stash and got back Illusion of Safety and Identity Crisis. Went online to see what they've been up to and found the newest one 'Beggars' from 2009...woah. Much different sound but it's really growing on me, I love organic/studio live/simple but heavy/effective recordings. Interesting stuff.

Thrice is awesome. Beggars is unbelievable. Vheissu isn't bad either but the 4 alchemy index cds are outstanding. Take 3.5 hours out of a night and listen to them straight through.

so my wrangler fits perfectly under the tarp under my deck. yay for having dry seats after a rainy night!

but she also goes through a gallon of coolant every 2 weeks. and it isnt leaking externally. (also has shit oil pressure)

if i patch the frame in 2 places i bet i could get plenty of life out of the rest of the body.

and i bet i can swap that motor in a few hours.

now do i fix it? or beat on it til she dies?
