I am completely baffled by the highway gas milage of my jeep. 270k with 33's on stock gears and 20 mpg's? It defies all of my logics. Also, I should've just built mid arms on my set up. Instead I went though 46% of the work for mid arms, and ended up with short arms still.

how are you calculating mpg's

Naw naw naw, you guys are looking at this all wrong.

Use the stock LCA frame side mounts for the lower arms for the rear axle, and use the stock front leaf hanger for the front LCA mounts.

just learned me some new info for my dream race truck... almost wanna ditch building my XJ now lol

i actually thought of that too lol

a line mtn race truck that was at rc last weekend had em. thing was fast.

are you stupid? clearance issues.

unless you inboard the front arms to the center of the axle it wont work.

use stock uppers in front too. those are fine

So I've been looking through some jobs in the past couple mins, and I keep coming across John Deere listings, and they sound pretty sweet. The last one I found was Axle engineer, and the description sounded interesting. Some of the candidate pluses were "*Designing, building or repairing drive train components and mechanical systems *Operating off highway equipment"

The only problem is its in Kansas...
