Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

And I hope to be paying off the Altima tomorrow and, ideally, selling it next week.
Nice.

What are you going to get in place of it?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I want to smash things right now. I am 300% sure I made the right decision when I decided to quite my independent study. I am detailing drawings right now and its just making me angry.

On top of that senior week tickets went on sale at 7 tonight. People were allowed into the online waiting room before 7, so no one I know got tickets to what we wanted, and we have to pay for it all too. We also have a "senior gift" where we donate money to our favorite organization. Its sad when you haven't even left school and you are already getting phone calls asking for donations.

Still thinking about that. On one had I am considering a truck (gasser or diesel), however I really think I want to get another car. For cars, I am torn between a fox body mustang (convertible or hatch) and a miata (just a ton of fun to drive). Just found a stock fox body convert with <70k miles for a good price so I may buy it this wkend if it doesn't sell before then.. I would rather a hatch but a convert would be nice in the summer and it's clean/stock so I can't argue.

That and I want to get the Jeep running and start driving that again. Lately I have been really motivated to do it too. Just gotta find the parts to do it. Along with stuff to get it running I am getting some comfort items (carpet, headliner, and maybe even heated leather seats , CD player, speakers, etc).

im goin to the sox game tomorrow night for free loge box behind home plate fawk yea!
Nice! One of the last games I went to was back in '07 when I was in the EMC luxury box on the first base line. It was sweet. Really thinking that I am going to try and go to A LOT more games this year.

Yup. My school called me and asked if I would donate and I said no, not until I pay off my loans... so they put me down as "yes to donate $5" and keep bugging me about it now. :smsoap:

And at my school the Sr. class got to pick the fall concert on campus... I forget who we picked but they had to cancel and we missed our Sr. event all together. That money was supposedly put toward Sr. week but I'm pretty sure that was BS since Sr. week was just as expensive as ever according to friends.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

wade how long did u let it run? how long has the motor sat? it took a couple minuts for the oil to get to the valve train on my 95 after it sat for 2.5 years without oil

Exactly. I let the cranked the engine over (no spark or fuel, disconnected) on the starter for a good minute or so to build some oil pressure before reconnected the electrical and fuel and I started mine after it sat for a couple of years.

i let mine crank on just the starter for 30-40 sec, imidietly got oil pressure once i started the engine though, speakin of oil, all the spilled oil is cleaned up, garage is kinda a mess though, gotta reorganize shit tomorow, idealy id like to get the new rocker in place by tomorow night but im not dure how feasable that will be, depands on how well the patch job goes

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Does it come with the old bitties?

And after mine sat for a year and a half I just started it up and walked away for a while; I didn't want to be nearby in case something broke in a spectacular show of flying metal

Yeah it didn't take but a few seconds for the oil pressure to build, but I still cranked if for a few more after to ensure that I got the top end lubed before starting.

You're making headway, I have faith! Stinks about the needed patch job, but at least it is only one side.
