i have a leatherman skeletool.. thats my carry knife. single blades are useless sometimes when i need pliers... and its just as sharp as my CRKTs, gerber, and some other german one i cant remember

My new carry knife. Much much smaller and faster than my old one. The other one gets too many comments to make it worth my time.

I'm pretty sure left my knife at the JY yesterday. Part of me wants to order something now the other part of me wants to wait until next weekend in hopes that my old one is still under the hood of a ZJ at the yard.

Nice. I keep my Leatherman in the car and my Leatherman Micra on my keychain. I mostly use the screwdrivers and scissors on that. Assisted opening is sweet. It was a little stiff out of the box but a touch of bike chain lube fixed that.

It's all about purpose. It only weighs 1lb 4 oz. Perfect for summer backpacking trips.

Speaking of backpacking and purpose etc... i bought myself a pair of asolo fugitive gtx boots from rei last night. I tried on a ton of different boots, but these just fit friggin amazing. With discounts and my dividend i saved like $65 so im happy

In regards to Ken's 20K posts. I really want to try to log in as Ken and waste his 20,000th post, that would be awesome.

I do remember that the forum has a way of letting the admins know when someone has multiple false entries.

So I'm just saying, Ken, when you are informed that multiple password attempts have been tried on your account, I'm telling you now that it was me.

And Adam...70% chance of thunderstorms for this saturday. Glad I just got a drycharger cover for my new K&N air filter...

I haven't been updating much, but the doorbars are done, spare is patched, got the tube today, did the front driveshaft u-joint today, got the new airfilter today, I cut out a bunch of stuff and I'm down to 1.5 roll cages now, I soldered the radiator and pressure-tested it Sunday so now that's back in, cooling fan kit should be arriving shortly, gonna do that and put the tube/tire/wheel together for the spare...also changed out the nuts on the rear upper link bolts for mechanical lock nuts, tightened all the jam nuts, and a ton of other little random crap over the last few days...

Can't wait to drive this thing with an air filter that's not trying to invert itself. Between that and a TON more room on the inside, it'll feel like a completely different truck.
