I found one (3500) but it's 1500 bucks and pretty far away. Wondering how much money I could make selling the dump bed and snowplow setup it's got on it though, along with the axles.

plows go for a good chunk of change, same as the dumpbed pending shape, axles im sure you could sell to some tard or you could run em as a cheap 1ton swap(frt can be bolt in if you fudge a few things)

wait, bolt in? is this the one alluded to in the getrag g54 swap trolling from a while ago? I'm not down with fudging things unless it gets me back on the trail quickly so I guess I am for fudging things then... I figure if I can get 500 for the plow setup (with EVERYTHING needed to bolt it on) and another 3-500 for the dump bed on CL I'd have 500 into everything I need for a certain swap I want to do in the next 5 years sometime. Now that I have a yard, I am fine with lining the parts all up far in advance and just leaving them by the shed tastefully covered with blue tarp and old tires.

EDIT: this is not idle talk... if I can get the motor, trans, and ECU lined up for 500 or under (after the trading/selling is done and the dust settles) I am damn well doing it. Close to that and I might still do it.

Once trained, pandora is damn good... and I have my cellphone and my work computer on the same pandora stream, so it's trained quite nicely.

I think I have hundreds of hours into my creating my pandora stations. I almost never have to skip songs anymore. I have the same stations on my ipod touch which is pretty nice too.

its basicly the same suspention as a xj, just bigger, i dont see why things aint close enough, and that be the motor/trans combo id love to run, but i think i wanna go with a 2.4 SRT-4 motor just to be diffrent, but thats only if i did buggy

yeah, it won't be going in a wheeling rig but I've been lusting after a V8 ever since I drove the 95 5.2 ZJ I did a brake job on a month or so ago. And if I'm gonna do that, I might as well just buy a parts junker with the ECU and trans I want in it as well... they run 231s, so depending on how things bolt up, I'd run either an NP231J or the 231 that came with it. If I can run an NP231J in it I probably would, then turn around and sell the stock dodge 231 to a plow driver for a few hundred before next winter.

like I said, no hurry on it... just keeping my eye out for parts. Basically I want to have all the parts lined up for fairly cheap by the time I get around to this one, if I'm in a hurry when I try to find them I'll end up paying more.

3 of my shitboxes run and drive, the 4th should do so by this weekend :roflmao: can't say as much about the house though it's already more watertight than when I bought it. Hasn't had a drop of water in it in weeks.

Ken, just to clarify it would be an NV4500. 5600 came in 00 or 01 IIRC.

Cool. I figured it was either a late model only or diesel only transmission. Basically any 5 speed is fine with me, if I could find a Dakota with a 5.9 and an AX15 I'd grab that too, but it seems they only came with the 5.2.

shall be a touch over $200 shipped, following week i will be orderingfrom rock auto(might get em locally)

flywheel
throwout bearing
pilot bearing


and locally ill be getting
upper/lower rad hoses
injector orings
assc belt

gona reuse the starter and alt. and if those go out io got spares and there easy to swap im still debating on to get a oil pump or not

EDIT: ow. I was wondering what the hell was making my arm feel like hell... turns out I have had a quarter inch long splinter jammed straight into the side of my wrist for at least 2 days now. Not sure how I hadn't noticed yet.

Carmelo if you ever see a 94-02 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 with a 5.9 gas, NV35/45/5600, 4x4, and ECU all equipped and intact go through your dad's yard let me know how much he wants for it. I don't care if it's SRW or DRW, nor what the body and cab look like, all I want is the motor/tranny/ECU/maybe transfer case. I'll buy the whole thing if I have to. Not in any kind of a hurry, I won't have time to get this project started for a long time anyways just starting to keep my eye open for parts at the right price.

It's possible but I wouldn't hold your breathe. I doubt they're common.

T Pain just grabbed some and I think I'm going to also and strip my my rails and prime/prep for stiffeners. I'd like to have full stiffs, rockers and new bumper for memorial day.
