hmm. everybody must be building rigs today. i was shooting and it was awesome. went 4 rounds at the beagle club trap range....modified choke from 28 yards=unhittable clays haha

Another fun weekend at Rausch.

Friday night it got down to 12 degrees.

Spent Saturday morning putting down 20 miles on the race practice course w/no issues...saturday afternoon I was trying to launch up something on the easy/medium/hard hillclimb, and one of the back tires landed in a hole with the engine going full bore.

That was a 32-spline 1310 CV yoke...broke in half, and took some of the double-cardan assembly with it. Since I have to buy a new yoke now anyway I might as well go up to a 1330.

The radiator has a pinhole leak apparently...I haven't isolated it yet but hopefully it's something I can get repaired.

Those are the major things I need to get done in the next 3 weeks, along with building door bars. I think I'm gonna head over to the shop now and start taking everything apart so I can powerwash & inspect stuff. I'd really like to take a nap, but that's against GSD rules at this point... :)

The steering spacer I just welded up is total over the top bulletproof. I think the ears will break off the damn box before the spacer has problems.

Its a lot colder than it looks outside, spent the day freezing my ass off in southbridge.

jeepy now has 1 removeable door and less sheetmetal and 5lbs less dirt

i just made it removeable so it be easier to check rocker fitment, i dislike being doorless on the trails

Not really. The web browser is better at everything vbulletin except the load times.

Rob, which door? All the cool kids made their read doors removable for cargo loading purposes
