I was just driving around and decided to just start hitting the brakes hard.
1st, at idle my green Jeep shakes like bastard, its bad and noisy. As soon as I give it a tiny bit of gas it is silent and smooth.
2nd, under hard braking, my rear end hops. I'm guessing its the RE leafs.

I just replaced one of them yesterday. I torqued them to whatever my lame ass air wrench (not impact) went to.
Yes, I do not like my rearend at the moment. Once you pointed it out and I started to feel it hopping at your place, I actually was watching another video and saw how much my RE leafs torqued and were weird.
You ever get in touch with that guy by any chance?

Yeah 3.55s and 33s were all "nawwww man" when I tried to burn out. I can get one wheel spinning on a corner no problem due to open diffs and no swaybars atm though.
Horrendous noises I haven't figured out yet, it was way worse before I retorqued my ubolts (my jeep abuse on the trail had stretched them so bad they weren't even finger tight... :shocked
- new ujoint back there, spiders looked fine a few months ago, I think its my exhaust bouncing off something and/or badass axle wrap but I'm not sure.
Today kinda sucked, was gonna fix the m54a2 and drive it to the m&g but I showed up, popped an oil filter off, and found... a pool of coolant :twak::wow:
Turns out it was not the head gasket leaking (I hope) just another smaller gasket further up. Sucked out most of the coolant, drained the rest out of the pan, flushed it with a lot of clean oil, turned it over a bunch with no injectors in it to flush any residual out of the bearings under minimum load. Nothing left to do but hope for the best. I just have to hook up a pile of stupid hoses, set the valve lash, tighten some bolts, and fill the crankcase now.

give the motor mount a little while to break in. my jeep vibrated like a mofo for a few weeks, but its smooth now.
