Well I do believe my front OX cable is fubar. Must have melted it inside the sheath so that it doesn't move at Sam's. At least it stays in the locked position. I guess that is what you get for mounting it directly next to the exhaust and intake manifolds... (it worked for 3 years though...)
The question is do I do another cable, do I do air, or do I do electric?

cable. run it through the stock UCA mounting hole then through the floor.. my buddy has his there, worked mint til he got rid of the 30.

A. ken you did bolt the amp back in place
B. went to home depot to get new .025 tips on the way home i figured id plug the amp back in to have a lil radio play, not 2 min later i have a burning smell and the radia cuts out, imidietly pull over, lift up the rear seat and theres smoke pouring from the amp, so the amp is toast guess i gotta figure out what to do with the radio in this turd

... and I'm afraid that may be why it smoked. It could have been the reason it was drawing power at all times, too, I'm not sure. I can try and fix it for you if you want.
I didn't bolt it back in - someone grabbed it and bolted it back in before I could. I hadn't bolted the heat sink clamp bolts on the side of it back in yet IIRC.
