Actually, isn't bert01xj a trucker? He's from down there and was just posting about the snow up here. Maybe find out if he's doing any loads going south in the near future and will end up with an empty flatbed for the trip north?

I picked up a $50 chevy 60 last night. Looks like its in nice shape, i need a jeep to put it in. anybody have one?

Now to go work on the Jeep. Going to strap it to a tree and drive in reverse to try to pull the frame rail straight again, replace 1 motor mount, and adjust the t-case linkage.

I ordered my ox from qtec Tuesday after work, around 6. It shipped yesterday morning, I got it an hour ago.

theyre like a state over. i discovered after paying for next day shipping if a product ships UPS from new england its automatically next day whether you pay for it or not

All this talk about new unibodies... Who wants to help me fetch a XJ shell from Jersey?

My options are:
-suck someone off till they agree to help me
-rent a uhaul truck and have a couple friends come a long for the ride (seems expensive, but would probably be fun)

I'm not going to ask Colin, because he needs to focus on getting his own crap done.

I'm willing to compensate for fuel, food, beer, etc...

what timeframe are we lookin at? i have a truck and trailer and most weekends i have nothing to do. compensate for fuel, and maybe throw in lunch and you got yourself a tow rig...i also have a winch so we can just drag that sucker up

This sounds good. I like this.

Taking more than one car would be foolish and I think Jon's truck would comfortably sit 2 + Keith... Correct? Bob, I'd love to have more company but I don't know how well it would work...

Time frame is TBD, but I'm thinking mid april-early may at the latest.

Looks like the time frame is varies greatly between towns. Seems like Westport might be under a month

i must be doing somthing right, pulled the jacks and c clamps off the stiffners, hit em a couple time with my big hammer and nothing happened, just gotta do all the plug welds now
