Jenn is so sunburned. Her right foot is swollen. looks like she sprained her ankle. And I told her she always gets burned badly so she should be careful. Apparently she thought spraying sunscreen on once in the morning then staying at the beach all day was being careful

So it rained/snowed tonight while I was outside putting in new driveshaft bolts, running wiring, and reassembling the interior on my XJ. That's cool.
Then it started hailing. Not cool. That's when I call it quits, especially when I'm trying to drive it around w/o goggles to test some stuff. :laugh:
Mechanically I think it's all good; gotta wire in the battery cutoff and amberlamps tomorrow, then load it on the (new) trailer and get ready to boogie on out friday morning. Looks like a cold, wet, icy, snow weekend at Rausch...what else is new. Great conditions for race practice & tuning. Can't wait.

If I had shit to do, trust me, it would have gotten done. I'm getting the cutoff solenoid today. Last night was mostly just dicking around; I had gone back to install the ramps on my new trailer, and decided that *that* wasn't a job that needed to get done in the middle of a hailstorm.

been there done that... drivetrain swap in a parking lot in a thunderstorm last July! So worth it. soaking up water sitting in the throttle body wasn't so fun though, and the steam boiling off the manifolds the first time I started it up scared the hell out of me.Can we start a "Get shit done" club?
