dumb idea
um, why? I just want the front crossmember, but said the front frame rails because I wouldn't expect him to do all the work to clean it up. And if the shell's getting junked I'd want the x-member first. dunno why that's dumb? :dunno:
We live in MA. And the laws here are super wee todd did. It has taught me never take anything for granted simply out of paranoia.yea i was gonna say its legal in ny for 2 wide.. glad youre ok dude
Because Colin himself is dumb and doesn't know what he is talking about half the time.
Oh, well in that case... Alright.Because I said so.
Jesus, you do concrete too? I'm gonna have some stupid questions and quite possibly a paying project for you soon...Gear install kits on the way.
Cut holes in the 9" this afternoon, but I am out of O2 to cut out the patch plate.
Concrete at 11 tomorrow, maybe after that I can get down to abco and be set to weld it up tomorrow afternoon
x2. I still think he should keep it and work on it off to the side when the other one doesn't need fixing...I'm not going back to read 5 to 6 days worth of posts, but I skimmed them and it looks like Anthony is scrapping his project? Am I the only one that is disappointed and wanted to see him actually complete it?
:thumbup:If I don't cut up the front crossmember, there's a good chance I'll keep the chassis. It's not gonna hurt anything just sitting still and 3-4 people can carry it. All hope is not lost.
who needs a 300 when you can get two drivers, two motors, and rear steer involved? Continuously variable front/rear digs!We should graft the front of his build now onto another xj front and try to drive at the same time. :explosion
wellllllllllllllllllllll just read this off the MASS RMV
SPECIAL RULES
FOR MOTORCYCLES
Do not ride along pavement lines or between lanes of traffic.
Ride no more than two abreast.
Unless your motorcycle can travel safely at minimum posted speeds, do not
travel on highways or expressways.
RESTRICTED LANES You must not ride in lanes posted as restricted, except when preparing for a turn.
does that mean i was not following too close if i was on the side of him?
I just started hypothesizing and I realized that at best, you'd have only 1st gear 4wd. (Reverse in one, first in the other) But even those ratios rarely match. This idea was doomed from the start. Way to go Keith :gee:who needs a 300 when you can get two drivers, two motors, and rear steer involved? Continuously variable front/rear digs!
That blows. Hope you feel better. I woke up with the taste of "you'll be sick within a fortnight."Ps, anyone who gets a nagging cough should be prepared to feel like death a few days later. This pretty much sucks but at least it means I am not at work.
Have you ever actually punched a wall in anger? You wouldn't think it solves much but it's surprisingly liberating. Just don't hit a stud.I woke up with the feeling of wanting to punch a wall because all I want to do is work on my MJ but I have to work on this stupid capstone project.
Yup. The wall had it coming anyways :laugh2:Have you ever actually punched a wall in anger? You wouldn't think it solves much but it's surprisingly liberating. Just don't hit a stud.
I like the D110 land rovers

(wait for comment by Colin that they are wicked stupid and gross and he wants a ramcharger or his MJ is way better)
