You should make capstone crap get in the way of work time.

the j-10 is a chick magnet regardless of the lack of floor
edit: the old plugs were NGK's... those are supposed to be good, right? They're definitely not the original set.
NGK's are really good spark plugs. Especially for imports. Are you sure they're not the original set? VW probably uses NGK in their motors.
And anthony, if youd be interested in my 37s/h2s let me know
seafoam
fer sewius.Gotta love DD maintenance
I think the next thing I need to do to my CTD is get new tires.
Probably wait until after NACfest unless they still have tread on them.
Definitely before next winter.
That's good to know at least. OEM's are Bosch.NGK's are really good spark plugs. Especially for imports. Are you sure they're not the original set? VW probably uses NGK in their motors.
psssh. Hawk HPS. I wanted HP+ but forum goers talked me out of it. They're a lot more money, and a lot noiser, and suck in the winter... Also doing SS lines and better brake fluid. A set of 4 SS lines is only $150.x2
and get some stoptech pads
Woops. Dropped the ball on this one.:wave1:
?
I've heard it smokes and smells like hell and almost stalls the engine, but really cleans it out. Maybe I'll do it in the back parking lot of the local Walmart or something. There's no risk of anything actually getting damaged, right?Do yourself a favor, and don't do this anywhere near your house/garage.
Or at least make sure your house isn't downwind.

Hmm, ok. We'll see what happens. It's supposed to only take like 10 minutes for my car.I put seafoam in my '92 XJ and it wasn't THAT bad. I did it in my driveway. Sure there was a cloud of smoke, but it wasn't like it fogged up the entire area.
I'm probably gonna get BFG A/Ts for my CTD. I've liked them on everything I've had them on and they last FOREVER.
I've heard of plenty of people doing it to the 2.0 FSI so I'm not really too worried... I'd just rather I brake my car in my own driveway than somewhere else.Mechanically no, electrically I don't think so, but I've never done it on anything more advanced than a 4.0.
I let it stall out and sit for a while, that really breaks up anything that's caked onto the intake manifold. It smoked out the entire parking lot at my apartment complex for a good 10 minutes.
Did he drill all new holes or just enlarge existing ones?Mechanically no, electrically I don't think so, but I've never done it on anything more advanced than a 4.0.
