Speaking of crappy towns and Boston, I love how the autozone in Dorchester has steel bars over all the windows. Nice neighborhood.

Yeah but I had to drive it through Boston. Aka CRAPPY towns. Plenty of chances for me to get smashed into.

Nah didn't get it airborne. Almost did but IFS/IRS soaks up bumps like crazy. There was one bump that would get my XJ slightly airborne on my way to work. I didn't even feel it in the HMMWV.

You didn't tell me you were going through Boston, what part?

This was a year ago. I went to the Northeastern Marine Science Center out at Henry Cabot Lodge Park.

Drove up through Revere/Lynn on the pike / 1A.

Nope, I just looked at it on google maps a while ago and noticed the bars. The stores in Worcester have armed guards too, somehow I'm not surprised. The one that works at the store a couple blocks from me always wants to talk about his willys project when I show up.

I know nothing about the 2WD front ends, but I'd be hard pressed to turn it down.

6.7 kicks dick, but the fuel mileage ain't that great. My father's only gets 13-17 on average (granted it's 4WD) due to the DPF (they make delete kits).

Auto? Should be the 68RFE. Friggin kick ass 6 speed auto.

I'd be tempted if you don't want a 4WD one.

Also might have an exhaust brake.

Billy if you're ok with a 2WD unit then it doesn't sound totally unreasonable to me?

My parents got theirs for like $38k or something out the door 2-3 years ago.
