You loved it and now you're going to be rocking out to it in your truck that you pretend you don't listen to the radio in.

In a few hours I will be cruising down the road headed home with the windows down saying "It's Friday" but not is some horrible remixed voice and not due to that song. What a mess. What happened to real music?

Anyway, I'm just excited to get outside and do something in this gorgeous weather!

Now you're talking. I usually just hang at the $15 tables, but I have no problem with playing a higher minimum if that's the only thing available. I need to go do that again soon...

poker rooms are quiet

Never played poker at a casino, moves too slowly for me. I like playing with friends though. They typically hate playing with me because I apparently have absolutely zero tells and XXXX with people the whole time. NACfest hold'em game, anyone?

free drinks are small

Until you're doing well at blackjack and the waitress becomes your friend. I usually have jack & cokes while playing blackjack; last time I was in AC I basically had my own private cocktail waitress halfway through the night. Being up $700 at a $15 table, you look like a baller. :laugh:

395N @ ~2:30am people drive really really fast

Hopefully tonight after midnight, people on 95S will be driving really really fast as well. Google says 9 hrs 45 minutes to the trailer place, I intend on doing it in under 9. The joys of going 500+ miles on a tank.

I spent $5. You do enough welding for someone, they tend to cover your drinks for an evening.

what were the casualties from that last one, aside from Adam's face? Those shitheads hauling snow inside and dumping it on the floor, then being dickbags and refusing to do anything except standing around laughing had me about ready to bust some faces.

I only played $20, was up $10 then lost it. A couple of my buddies do it 1st thing to get some "quick cash" the 3 guys that go gambling regularly were all up at least $100 in the 20min we were at the table.

Slots were fun when you are on a very small budget. I just can't get myself to throw down large money on one hand. Got to be an acquired thing. I just don't have that kinda cash to be throwing around. I wanted to play a $5 table but the only open ones last night were $15, $25, $50+ mins.

I didn't play, just watched my buddies for a few. It sure it different than playing for chips, peanuts, and beer.

It was a good night, but definitely not something I'd make a regular thing or plan a trip for.

Its thawing right now, I had thrown it in the freezer as I wasn't sure when I'd get to it. I'll probably fix it up in the morning hopefully.

Haha, a buddy of mine posted that song on facebook the other day. Horrible. I love how almost every comment of the 9,000 have been mysteriously "flagged as spam."

I did just spend the last 10 minutes or so going through the related videos on the side pane of "friday." Almost everyone had a comment about how much better it was than "friday" and it was all ridiculously young girls singing about stupid pointless things. There were a few where the singer and her friends randomly broke out singing and dancing in a dark back ally wearing 80's outfits.

Probably one of the reasons I do so well is *because* of the fact that I don't go often.

I'll usually budget $200 for blackjack. I've never lost in AC and usually triple my money at a minimum.

I bet $200 on a hand once. I was already at $850, started at $200. Last hand of the night, win or lose. I won.

I did a little worse than breaking even at a indian casino near Traverse City, MI when I was up there for our senior project competition...and when I was down in the Bahamas for work, the casino by my hotel XXXXing cleaned me out. Down to 0, after being +$200 just a short time before. The same thing happened to just about everyone sitting there...I've never seen a table go cold that fast. One by one, everyone was like wtf just happened...kinda funny in retrospect. XXXX that place.

Other than those two experiences, nothin' but win. And I rarely deviate from basic strategy.
