Driveshaft carrier/center bearings suck. I finally got the brakes/hubs all back together on the D-max and then had to fight that stupid thing for awhile just to be able to drop the driveshaft so I can change the 3 u-joints in it when they hopefully show up at Napa first thing in the morning. With any luck, I can have the D-max done by mid-morning, quick oil change on red jeep, then I can haul ass on black jeep the rest of the weekend.

ive had issues with shipping on 3 of the the last 4 orderes through ruffstuff, either shit was on backorder and i wasnt old or some stupid shit like that, also all this progress colin is making is pissing me off, but its great motivation too

so im thinkin bout getting some .025 flux tomorow and trying that out, been using .030 really just got alot of small shit to do yhoughts anyone? im thinkin it will help with sheetmetal shit like the stiffners till i get my tank

All my stiffeners have been done using .030 wire (with gas though). For just straight sheetmetal to sheetmetal, less then like 16g, use the smaller stuff.

ive used the .030 flux on sheetmetal and its a lost cause, used .025 gas on sheetmetal and it was XXXXing awsome i think it may be worth a shot with the flux burning lot hotter, the stiffners dont need to be welded in yet, but i gotta notch te crossmember and do some other shiznit

Give it a shot with the thinner stuff. Theory says that since flux burns hotter, smaller wire should work better.

That guy tried to buy the wj parts I had (I offered) and then was a hardass about shipping and tried to nickle and dime me down from an already reasonable price, then started making retarded threads about how to do it. So broiling spare ribs with rub on hi for 15 minutes produces enough smoke to set off the smoke detectors in the house.
A pity, because that smoke smelled damn good.
Two racks of ribs, seared on top, with homemade BBQ sauce, onion, and garlic sittin in the slow cooker right now. Should be good to go around lunchtime tomorrow.
Best thing about these experiments? My house smells XXXXing awesome when I wake up in the morning.
Side note: this friend-of-a-friend chick at the bar tonight was suddenly in one of those situations where she 'needed to have a boyfriend' because some creepy dude was hitting on her. This turned into me and her making out for most of the night, me driving her home and making out a little more, and getting her number. Interesting night...
