I'm glad I have shitty tires, no front locker, and 3.55s, it has kept my front axle alive without me even thinking about it and even if I do blow it up, a same-day emergency replacement will cost me $100.
this is my plan too, at least till I wear the 33s I have out
maybe, maybe not. I'm 99% sure the bbq at my place is not happening due to horrible weather.

Driving along the road today I see some shiny metal pieces on the ground near the edge of the grass. Now Im doing about 45mph but Im pretty sure I just saw a flexhead rachet so Im thinking it cant hurt to turnaround. It was and along with it an assortment of sockets and allen heads. About a $100 in free tools. Have a nice day people. Be back in a couple weeks.

The all-inclusive roll bar kit my miata-having buddy purchased is pretty well made, missing a few washers and I had to trim a plate to fit... Decent kit I guess. Not for the $700 he paid for it. I told him we could build one for way less but he said it was a structural safety part
At least I convinced him to let me install it. His father wanted him to have it professionally done for ~$500.

Just got my next batch of pulled pork cookin in the crock pot.
This was the source of one of my better lines in a while...yes, it's 5:39 AM. At one point we were debating going to a strip club. I said no...I really gotta get home tonight and pull my pork for tomorrow.

Flip side...we didn't end up going to the strip club, this girl we know showed up at the shop, and although she was really there as a quasi-booty call for my buddy who owns the shop, we spent the whole night talking away from everyone else. And apparently she likes me better than my friend who placed the booty call. And wants to meet up sometime soon.
I didn't pursue this tonight, as it was kind of a 'done deal' with my friend who owns the shop...but she's cool enough, so I may see what try and happens. And the dirt bike chick (who adam and trevor met) is coming by tomorrow as well. What's the world coming to, when vetteboy actually has girls to talk to?
edit: nothin like drinkin' yourself sober at 6:00 in the morning.
