C Clamps are one of those things that you can always use one more of even if you think you have enough.

x2. Falls into the same category as screwdrivers, pry bars, pliers, welding magnets, I'm sure I'm leaving a few out.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

BEST VACATION EVER! No phone, no computers, no watch even. Barely ever new what time it was. Jamaica is awesome. Despite having to run through the airport to catch our connecting flight from Phili to Boston, and them holding the plane for us.

It was nice though to sign on to here and get a nasty PM.

Oh, and the ONLY Jeeps I saw in Jamaica, were 1 Comanche driving yesterday, and 1 Cherokee sitting in a lot on the way back to the airport.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sounds like a good time

Hope the PM wasn't anything too serious

What kind of trip was it? Sitting around the beach drinking or partaking in local greenery? Not sure what else there is to do in Jamaica...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Mark, nice pictures. Looks like you got to see some pretty neat stuff. Many of them remind me of life in the tropics, especially the pandanas trees.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I did no partaking in local greenery, although a few on our trip did. It was a nice sit in the sun, enjoy the beach and pools, swim, everyone get smashed (except me) on all inclusive drinks and food, etc. All 19 of us on the trip did pretty much everything together, including climbing up a waterfall. Myself and 1 other person drove Polaris rangers down to 1200 below and above sealevel on a tour of some place. Went to 2 margaritavilles, one was a party at night, and one was for lunch after the falls.

I do not look forward to going through the >1400 pics I took. Yes that is the correct number of zeros, I was known as the camera man for the trip.

I do have a nicely bruised tailbone due to a water slid mishap though, that happened the morning of the 2nd day.

Nasty PM was from hexguy, I guess he saw the post where I found his original HS project, and didn't like it too much. Had a few choice words for me. As they say in Jamaica, No worries.

how are there cutoff disc?

They cut, and are cheap. Supposedly they are carcinogenic, which I believe, as much as I believe that so is everything else on earth.

I buy mine for a dollar at ocean state job lot. They are the shittiest clamps imaginable. They crack in half, then I weld them to something else. I weld them shits on everything.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's the same style gun I used at Scout camp too, and the only style of rifle the BSA allows AFAIK. You use that model of Savage or just .22LR bolt action in general? For my first rifle I want something accurate, decently reliable, cheap to shoot, and peep sights. .22LR is cheap to shoot and I know Savage is a great company. Is there another model you'd (reasonably) recommend?

That gun is nuts! I didn't know something like that existed.

10/22 Nuff said.

I'm with keith. I LOVE my 10/22. I bought it second hand for like $130 and have put maybe another $175 into it, but that's upgrading the hammer/sear, recoil buffer, charging handle and spring, ejector and spring, mag release and auto bolt release, fully adjustable aperture sights, sling swivels and sling, and maybe 4? extra 10rnd mags. And the thing shoots friggin AWESOME, ask keith. The last thing i really want to get is a heavy barrel, and float the barrel. Just to give it a bit more weight and make it stable. But as it is, the things a tack driver and its 110% reliable now, will shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger and never jams.

You should lug your lazy butt up here sometime and between keith scott and myself we can set you up with a fun selection of things to try out :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So, I decided I really don't want to come back to the real world, and I'm going to go back to Jamaica, much better place to relax and hang out. All 19 of us didn't want to leave.
