Yeah, pick on of those up at a boat shop cheap and then make a sturdy mount inside that.

You don't want it completely sealed anyway it is a battery and it needs a vent.

Yeah the sealed units come with vents.

The one from Summit is $10.

Would cost me half of that just to get to the West Marine in Braintree.

Plus I need some AN fittings for my fuel cell. 2 caps for the fill/return I'm not using and 1 AN-barb for the vent.

i have 185 ft of 1 3/4 x .120 DOM coming this weekend. i think i have enough to build a dual-cage like chris's

Ahh, just make sure it fits the battery then.

FYI, don't get the cheapest AN fittings cause they are the cheapest. Stick with quality like Earl's, Russell, or Aeroquip. The difference of $0.38 isn't worth it. The couple of cheap ones I bought were not really "good". I won't take that chance again.

same place you get yours, not sure on final price yet. we were qouted $3.50/ft when we said we were getting 10-15 sticks, now we're getting 37.. lol

No... really $0.38, in regards to the caps he was talking about. So $0.76 total for what he needs.

I thankfully didn't run into that issue. The one leak I had was from me not tightening it enough.

Comparing them side by side you can really tell the difference.

Already done? Unfortunately those are the ones I was talking about. One of the few times "house brands" didn't pay off.
