Before even clicking the link I knew which post that was (because I just took a gander at that forum). His post read like his head was pretty far up his ass. He's so wrong though... I wish I cared enough to draw a couple dimensionally exaggerated pictures about why he's wrong and how they're actually matched.

Nope. I only have a few weeks to collect these permits and if I have to pay a guy to go out and dig in the snow to mark points and do topo work it gets more costly than if he just walked on bare non-snow covered ground.

I've had ones with a difference of 0.000" lock up the carrier bearings tight enough that I couldn't spin the diff by hand.

(installed my OEM ones upside down by mistake)

Oh, Chris, when you relocated your battery did you just use a block of UHMW with some bolts through it as posts for the starter, winch, etc.?

I think I saw that from you on the Pirate TOTM.

I've only destroyed 9" parts. Dana 30s have been fine. I actually lost one on the axle travis sold me. I daily drove on one for a year then sold it to some kid whos probably still driving on it.

He was probably using a version of a D70 that had larger wheel bearings, who knows.

The text I quoted said they range from the same size to bigger.
