THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Why not just incorporate an inch stretch into the perches on the axle...?

Why not incorparate different mounting holes in the front hangers AND perches for ultimate adjustability?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I never understood wanting wheelbase adjustability.

Just build it where you want it from the get go.

I can see it with suspension geometry, but even still, who the hell is going to be able to tell the difference.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

it will also help with my shackle angle so its like a win win fo me, but i may jusy get lazy and plate the stock piece and not have stretch, i just want to wheel dammit

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I also realized I still have a crap winch from Sam that I might use as a suck down winch.
where are you gonna put it? how will it fit with a 440 installed?

tryin to figure out what to get for lunch, could be a fun drive, kinda sorta dont got 4wd anymore
tcase take a shit on you or what?

infinate forces!

I prefer to keep the mounts as close to the axle housing as possible, it does reduce the leverage they have on your welds. I doubt it matters too much.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i might hit up a bar tonight, haven't decided which one yet though

hit me up if you do something cool

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

last time i used 4wd it was making unfriendly popping noises like somthin is binding n shit, i know i got a squekee ujoint somewhere, well of to get gas the pizzia/cheesy bread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I also decided I'm going to buy some nice seats (read Beard Suspensions) for my MJ with some of my tax return money.

I know there's also TwistedStitch and Mastercraft, but after looking at dimensions/material/cost, Beard seems to be the best.

Plus I've sat in Bill's for several hours and almost fell asleep. :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah but my problem is I have no frame of reference for how comfortable they are.

I've only ever sat in crappy Corbeaus and Bill's nice Beards.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

whatever seats chris has are pretty nice too.. idk what they are. useful info...

i'd love a set of brides... theyre $$ though

Thanks, I'll have to wait for him to chime in.

:dunno:

Im gunna sit in my stock seats with I knew theyre comfy. I'll strengthen everything and add some nice belts.

Have fun with your 4-pt harness riding up to your man boobs.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

it like 6 bucks.. eff that. i can get a 5 dollar box for less. or go to chipotle for another 3 bucks and get a real burrito.

I think I'll try it anyway just for the hell of it...

Love chipotle, but it's just far enough away that I can only get there on my lunch break if I hammer the F down and it's not crowded.

I'd probably put it where Chris put his.

Why would you do that? You can easily run your main winch line down to your axle.

My next rig will definitely be getting Twisted Stitch, no question.

See if you still like them after 5 laps at Line Mountain... :D

Even so - I highly recommend something with individual shoulder slots instead of a single center slot.
