Ken, you remember my friend Ian that you helped out a while back?

He's having issues with the outside of the tire wearing out. I told him he had a bad alignment or something was worn out, but he doesn't know what he's looking at. Do you happen to remember anything super suspicious about his steering when you worked on his MJ?

I didn't look at the front end much. I'd bet on something being worn out.

Told him to have someone turn the wheel while he looks for clunks... The kid is fairly clueless. He doesn't want to buy parts for it, but he wants it fixed. :banghead:

parked on some snow. not the most intense park job ever. 2 tires still on pavement (IN A PARKING SPOT)

my haircut is done. i go outside to 2 johnston cops, in separate cruisers.

douchecop- how are you sir?
me- im good, whats up?
douchecop- is this your vehicle?
me- yes
douchecop- You better go find a ride, im getting it towed.
me- wut?
douchecop- you better start lookin for a ride, or give me $85 right now.

at this point im like thinking of what to say/do lol. do i ask him if its illegal to park on a snow covered parking spot or do i not push my luck.

douchecop- better hurry up, you can go hang out in gamestop while we get this thing out of here
me- what if i get you $85
douchecop- well you better hurry up the tow truck is just pulling in.

so i run into stop and shop to the atm, and its broken.

so i buy 2 packs of gum and get cash back each time.

run back out where the cops and tow truck are still there. with the jeep loaded up and ready to go.

me- i have the money, can i drive it home?
douchecop- lets see it

i hand them money.

douchecop to the tow truck driver- ok you can let it down

and the cops leave.

the tow truck driver was cool though.

tow truck dude- "assholes huh? if they didn't stay i woulda just let it back down and let you go home"

then we talked about his lifted 4runner

also, those idiots need to see my epic parking.

I am slowly clearancing the bottom of my tow hitch using the asphalt, every time I park on a snowbank it scrapes the ground. I don't even have to put it in 4wd usually.

i left the parking lot sideways.

the aw4 is a lil less sloppy after the tranny flush, so that was nice.

idk where the money went. but the tow truck driver gave me a receipt for $82

Hope you remember their badge numbers and/or cruiser numbers... do some digging and find out if parking on a snowbank IN A SPOT is actually illegal or not, if you have a case, raise hell.

I view it less as getting my money back and more as justice being served. That's the only reason I spent time digging up picture proof and spent several hours in a waiting room and a 25 dollar court fee to get a 50 dollar ticket thrown out. The guy was a dick and had no case, gave me an unjust ticket, like hell I'll let that stand. I would have done it if it was a 25 dollar ticket.

johnston cops are a bit crooked.

they used to write me up for crimes i didnt commit.

and when i made them look retarded in the courtroom. they just had it out for me and i was pulled over twice in one week for bullshit. so i got a stock 4 cylinder comanche as a stealth vehicle.
