My front driveshaft is gonna be mega short even with a 1.5-2" stretch.

NP435 + D20 = super short drivetrain.

I thought those had that goofy ass CV ball cup thing at the axle end like some of the ZJs did (including the 95 5.2/auto/249 I worked on last weekend, which confused both me and Jeff.) If not, cool!

Pretty sure I just smoked another AW4... damn it. The 96 is either low on fluid or has a FUBAR AW4 again, it started slipping bad on the highway on my way to work. Shutting it off and turning it back on again fixed it temporarily, so it could also be a pile of random crap in the pan getting sucked up against the pickup screen and killing hydro pressure I guess. I even replaced everything else in the system when I replaced that tranny, so it wasn't leftover junk from the last one in the cooler/lines that did it in.

Oh, and PEBKAC = Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair. Always blame the user.

Okay Anthony :D
No, Anthony should have gotten a new body.

Yes...

Is it that much harder to actually type those stuff out rather than do acronyms? I always find it is easier to just type stuff out fully, its a few extra keystrokes, but there is less for people to not understand. Except for wtf, I will use wtf because everyone knows what the f*ck that means.

no, but it's a lot funnier when you tell some luser they have a PEBKAC error. UHE (User Headspace Error) used to be another really common one back when you actually had to configure the cyl/head/sector/landing zone/protocol settings for a hard drive in the BIOS instead of just punching "auto" and letting the system figure it out. In tech support, it's somewhat nice to have a way to call the user an idiot without them calling your boss and getting you fired...

It would be good if NAXJA would quote quotes on its own without having to edit the text manually. (like NEOW, PBB, etc)

Discussing how dumb a computer user is right in front of them often is offensive. If you tell the other IT guy 'what we have here is a pebkac issue' the client still has no idea what's going on.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

wow. The idiot I witnessed slam his pickup into some lady's minivan during that snowstorm a few weeks ago actually tried to put an insurance claim in against her. He was clearly at fault, I have no idea why he would stir the pot any more than he had to. Her insurance company just called me for a statement.

(she was trying to go up a snowy hill, slid out of her lane, was entirely stopped and had her emergency flashers on when the guy driving the shitty pickup in front of me got impatient, tried to sneak between her and the snowbank, and only succeeded in sliding the ass end of his pickup down the entire side of her van)

Just got my tube adapters from Ruffstuff.

No way in HELL are those going to work.

Called them up and they have no problem taking them back.

I'll just order from Ballistic or Machinewave if they have them.

I have yet to find someone else that lists ODs for tube adapters besides Ballistic. BTF is universal for 2" OD, Summit Machine doesn't list them, nor PolyPerformance, nor RuffStuff, etc. etc.

Adam, I love when normal, every day words look weird, like they are spelled correctly, but they in no way look correct.

In writing my paper for my senior project last semester, I found my friend spelled one word incorrectly every time he wrote it, and I spelled "vertical" as "verticle" every time I wrote it.
