THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

exactly, you'll have speeding tickets, and we won't be caught...:D

And if we are, the cops will be like "woh, wtf is this thing, its AWESOME!....I just wanted to stop you to look at it."

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just rebuilt my 3/4 drive ratchet. I think it's fairly old but it's inners are in awesome shape, no signs of wearing out or abuse. The ratcheting action feels a lot smoother now too.

edit: supercars are cool. I like the idea of a Lotus but don't think I could get over the fact that the engine is a Toyodur. (Happy Rob? .!.)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Too much $$ to be reasonable. I'd want something I could beat on and not feel too bad about it.

We're getting into C&D territory now, but I think a new Z06 would be one of the fastest things for the $.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Its WAY high, under like $12k I'd probably be hard pressed to buy it. Hell, KBB only lists it as like $9k in mint shape dealer retail.

You're not finding a 24v under $12k with sub 100k on it. That would be extremely tough to find.

Not saying its worth it, that's just what the market is. Every one i looked at was $15k+ and was a rotbox

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ok now wanting to be reasonable give me an 03-04 cobra and the money itd cost to buy a super car and youd have a better car that you could drive! or Id just take the cash and build a buggy!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

looks like it has a compensation stack installed.

Today sucked, the comanche is no longer driveable as of 17:40, I hate flash traffic jams, the new phone I paid 76 bucks for is nearly as busted as my old one, got ripped off by the ebay seller, the check engine light came back on in the 98 AGAIN, and I got a letter saying the city somehow managed to not get my check for the property taxes. Tomorrow better not be this bad.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I was coming into Worcester on 290 and saw brake lights, so I slowed down. I blinked and next thing I know there was a sedan right in front of me, stopped dead, and all 4 tires were sliding. I hit him at like 15-20mph and screwed up the header panel / other assorted stuff and put a small hole in the radiator. The guy I hit said he wasn't even sure if he hit the guy in front of me first or if I hit him first it happened so fast, it was a real shitty time to come around that corner. Wish I'd just left work late, would have avoided the whole mess.

I limped it home, it runs and drives and whatnot but is totally not legal, lights are smashed, bumper is stuck to the crossmember, etc. As long as I can tell my insurance company that I'll fix it and to not bother sending an assessor, I am not worried about it that much, but it's going to rape my insurance premiums :( Would have been better for me if the guy behind me had hit me as well, but he narrowly avoided it so I ended up as the back guy.

Ouch, that blows. At least you were able to get it home. They'd probably total it, anyway.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That sucks Ken at least your alright... And to be honest if this is your only recent accident I wouldnt worry about it too much... theres a handful on my record and my insurance never went up

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

WJ swap! (but really, it's awesome)

So I had ordered a couple small things from Amazon and they were shipped via USPS. The tracking #'s say that they were delivered today but I can't find them anywhere. The woman who rents the in-law appt in the house is the mail lady for our area and is usually really good. I left her a note basically asking where the heck they might be... I want my ratcheting wrenches!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

sucks to hear ken, im sure you have all the spare parts hanging around though!

Ken told me about it earlier today when he picked up parts from me, but what he did was exactly the same thing I did with my brairwood. My 1st accident (I did technically have one before, but it was a hit and run on me, and the other person's insurance paid it all out, and that was 4+ years ago), and my insurance went up a nice amount.
