Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

holy shiznit roses are expensive

its so nice to have the extra 100+ dollars the second week in february for the second year in a row

i'll take my jeep out somewhere like i did last year, and she's getting an oil change and stiffys welded on later this week. damn good gifts if i say so myself.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just have to buy my girlfriend flowers and I'm done.

I don't know why everyone puts so much effort into Valentine's Day, or assumes all girls require $100+ to be spent on them.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I feel bad because i've bought my girlfriend jeep parts for her last 2 birthdays, christmas, and her graduation. But to be honest, i dont know what else to buy girls

This.
Aside from this year there has never been much money spend on this day. I don't get y'all spending ~$100? Wow.

Shiny things they can wear.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Any girl that expects that sort of treatment is probably not worth it, or just needs an attitude adjustment.

Now he's going to go out and get her a D30 outer pinion bearing and get down on one knee.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

two valentine's days ago i spent clost to 200...
And I suspect there's a laundry list of reasons you two aren't together anymore.

Let me guess, card, roses, dinner, and some jewelery?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

CRAIGSLIST THREAD. Colin gets a F minus for the day.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I knew you'd do the right thing.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah I just want to get it done. Also, what do you/Bill think of my trackbar bracket?
I'm not Bill, but I think it looks like a good idea. The gusseting should help IMO.

Happy valentines day NAC
:loveu: :smootch:  :kissyou:
death to valentines day

i got a new project underway now, so you lose.
It's gonna take a while... but it's so much fun.

I'd rather deal with a build thread than these permits I'll be doing over the next few weeks.
This is a huge part of why I bought a wreck instead of building from scratch. My utility betterments are done, my architect probably died before WW II and I certainly never gave him a dime, my frame was built for me, my foundation is built for me, my blueprints are already filed with the city, my lot survey is done... and the only thing I'm keeping is the land, betterments, foundation, and frame.

If I ever move, I'll probably build from scratch on the next one. I have ideas on exactly what I want to do already.

I sold my set of (5) 35x12.50x15s on 5x5.5 d-windows to Ken for $300.

Where the hell were you.
$350, but yes. I'm planning on running them on an 8.8/hp44 with 5.13s.

The hp30 currently in red jeep is the one outta your old red jeep I believe. With gross uca bushings and gross ball joints
I love how d30s get traded around more than 2 dollar whores on here. Hell, I'm running Rob's old-old d30 from... I'm not even sure what jeep (green jeep?) in the 96 and Sam's old d30 from his current jeep in the MJ, by way of some guy from CT.

Thanks but nope... 53s are insane. I ran some numbers and 53s would be like running 35s on a stock geared XJ, and the M54A2 has enough problems accelerating and maintaining highway speed without that. I'm aiming for 46s max, which will be more like 31s on an XJ. Also I can get suitable rims for tubeless use for 50 bucks each in Townsend and can pick up a pallet of a dozen 46s for 1700 bucks in PA if I get my act together and bid on them next time GovLiquidation has some.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just called HTP Weld. $37 to my door for 2 10lb spools of 0.030" ER70S-6. Suck it, HD.
