My guy is having to source it too. Its actually his first time ever dealing with DOM. I'll shop around more when it comes time to order cage material.

Yeah I don't really care.

I just want to get the truss done, and maybe build a trackbar. I already have some heims from like over a year ago. Just 7/8 x 5/8 ones I think.

Just got off the phone with him. $11.25/ft for 20' x 1.5" OD x .250" wall DOM. $9.25/ft for 20' x 1.75" OD x .120" wall DOM.


This is also just for ONE stick though. I have a feeling when Colin & I buy say 250' we should get a better deal. My trailer will also not be buried in a snowbank somewhere and I'd be able to pick it up.

I didn't want to see this go back and forth called the place I got mine from for you. Marmon/Keystone (800-225-7374) there are probably other places and you could even shop around, but I'm not doing all the legwork.
Steel has gone up a little bit from what Chris/I purchased it as but the guy I spoke with quoted for 1.75", 0.120" wall DOM, $3.90/ft @ quantity (above ~160ft, more you order the cheaper per foot). Or $4.40/ft anything less than that (ie, single full 22-24footer). Those are delivered to Stoughton, MA prices.

This is also assuming you order nothing else (sold buy weight, not type).

Bill, I just looked at the NAPA listing for ZJ and XJ lines and they list the XJ's as being 8" longer than the ZJ's :dunno:

IDK, Maybe it was a smaller loop. The XJ cables are different lengths side to side, IIRC the ZJs are not.

Bill, are they going to deliver one stick of 1.5" DOM to Stoughton, MA? I doubt it.

And driving out to Northhampton is not something I want to do on a Saturday/Sunday morning when I could be working on the MJ. Sucks, but I'd rather pay a bit more and pick it up from Ross one night after work.

Didn't you have to have a minimum order to go through them...? Not saying >100 ft is a small order, I'm sure they'd do that no problem.

I'll probably go through them for that price when it comes time for cage material.

Hehe, ninja edit got M/K in there before I could ask, and assume, thats where you called. I was planning on getting a quote from them too. I was unsure if they would deliever this far.

97+ are different lengths.

96- (I think 96 is the break) are the same length both sides.
