The only really funny commercial was the 1st one for Bud Light "Hack Jobs". Disappointing. Also, what the heck was going on at 1/2 time. Nobody I was with (21 people) understood. Can't they get a half decent good group that doesn't butcher songs?

Ross, people have been doing 14-bolt shaves for decades without a mill. There's actually a legit article in 4-Wheeler mag (I think) that shows someone doing it with a sawzall.

You don't need that pinion bearing for setup. Only the carrier bearings, outer pinion bearing, and inner pinion race.

What do you think the damage is on this thing? It is actually somewhat close to Billy.

Looks like crossmember, maybe the end of the left frame rail, maybe a little inner fender damage, AC condensor, radiator, fans, probably some accessories on the motor? I'd buy it if it was cheap enough and rust free enough.

Situation: Ex cheated on me with some dude who ended up being a real good friends a little while later. He got a gf and was with her for 2 years and then cheated on her and they broke up. Ya, right now the bid is at $400, I'd probably go to $500 max or so. I was thinking about giving them a call tomorrow, discuss the damage a little more, and I was going to see if there was any way anyone could stop by and check it out.

Your offer for letting me store a vehicle at your place still stand?

IMO a 9" is alot easier to shave; no welding to cast, dont have to redo the cover mating surface and bolt holes, and no modifying a diff cover to fit.

I agree, but I am also starting about 2 years after you, and mine will be at NACfest.
The whole purpose was to either
A. Be right or
B. shame you into working on it.

Better hurry up, I just ordered the 3rd and gears, so as soon as they are in, I plan on going digging for the steel. I think I know where it is.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to remove the inner pinion bearing that will take less tools than the above setup?

I have a similar setup, use it right, and the bearings will be fine for set up.


The halftime show would have been great if it consisted of Slash, and nothing else. Oh well, At least benny still only has 2 rings.

Move out, live on your own, pay for all your own shit, and tell me how much time is left at the end of the day or on the weekends.

It'd be one thing if I was claiming to be moving at a fast pace with my build and was making the amount of progress that I am but I freely admitted from Day #1 that it was going to be a long and slow.

Instead of getting your kicks by insulting me, go eat some nachos or whatever it is that you do with your life.
