THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

dunno, I like chili but I've been living on buffalo chicken (on pizza or not) and cereal for like a month now, with the occasional 5 guys burger double bacon cheeseburger or moe's homewrecker tossed in for variety.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i had a burger that was better than 5 guys today... local joint. $6.71 for a fat ass burger, fries and a drink. and it came with unlimited toppings.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Any of you guys feel like TIG welding some really thin wall aluminum tubing? Needs to be gas proof and handle a few hundred PSI.

If I can't get it TIG welded I'm probably going to have to do some wacky aluminum block with threaded fittings and crap.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

what's this for? a few hundred psi is really kind of a lot for thin walled aluminum tubing, depending on how thin it is. If it's really that important, I'd pay to have a certified welder do it. Or make it out of a block.

air conditioning lines.

I'm (attempting to) put a full 97+ A/C setup into the MJ, except for the evaporator core, which will stay 96-down style. The problem is that the line fittings aren't the same, so I need to make or get made adapters to make a 96- evaporator core connect to the drier and line from a 97+ XJ. I've got parts for both sides that I liberated with a sawzall at the junkyard, so it's just a matter of either machining a properly sized piece of aluminum block and fitting both sets of lines into it, or cutting them and TIGing the lines together.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

sound like something that ought to be machined out of a block, IMO. ross does have a bridgeport, remember?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ken, how close are the diameters?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

for anyone thats used the shittybilt winch, does the remote plug just kind of fall into the solenoid plug, with like no tension on it whatsoever? the remote plug just slides in and out (insert joke here) doesn't really feel like its "plugging" in

actually, not too sure. Within a quarter inch or so

I haven't looked at them in months, just remembered I needed to figure this out while making my massive list of stuff the MJ is getting done sometime this century.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

guess I should buy a couple rolls of Gorilla Tape

Congrat Ken, you're officially the biggest whore around here.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I went to the MFA yesterday with a friend to take pictures for my photo class.

These two were for the actual assignment, which was "Wheels."

I need to see if I can get the spot of light reflecting off the glass in front of the top right of the face removed.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hey i gotta working winch now.. sweet

now im gonna go try and get stuck tomorrow

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm gonna have one of those soon I hope... I'll have to try even harder to get stuck.

Only needed to get winched three times so far, but with the ramp from my yard to the road being how it is, I suspect I might need it to commute next winter.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah i've never really had the absolute need for one, but im sure with all this deep ass snow i won't make it too far...

oh, nice pictures mark

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ken, PM box is full again.

I still haven't used my winch. The one time I could have used it, another winch was much more convenient
