THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Among other things, we build motors for the large overhead fans used in warehouses, factories, etc. I just talked to a guy from another fan manufacturer who's interested in using our motors. They're called Big Ass Fans.

www.bigassfans.com

I couldn't keep a straight face when he said that...but apparently they're one of the biggest fan manufacturers in the country. Go figure.

ive seen that too.. idk where though.

You need to make your buggy bigger than Bubba's, even though he's way out on yondah

this lolol

Dammit...now I wanna build some more chili.

Really thinking about trying it with that ground bison I mentioned before...I'm not worried about the couple extra bucks, but would it taste different enough to be worth trying? It's also about 1/4-lb shy of the usual amount of meat I'd put in, and I wouldn't want to screw it up with bacon or sausage if it *is* different. Or maybe get two pounds, make it a little meatier with 1-1/2 lbs, and do a stir-fry or burgers for lunch with the rest...

Sounds like a good Saturday morning project.

A guy on NEOW recommended using buffalo meat rather than the ground beef too. It's leaner and healthier. Bison would probably have a similar affect.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I love jeepforum

Im on my 3rd tank using it. I read about it improving mileage, ect...and decided to give it a try. Been mixing it as 1oz to every 5 gallons. Well, today I went out to fire up my 1998 XJ and it was running almost like it had a clogged fuel filter. I drove it up the road and it just sounds weak. What gives? Last time I will run walmart 2 cycle oil in my gas.....not sure if thats what caused this...Is there a way to check my codes without going the 70 miles to the nearest town. Im in the middle of nowhere...literally....any help appreciated. Tomorrow im going to throw 5 gallons of fresh fuel in the tank to see if that does it.....dang!

I'd hope so, given that buffalo = bison. :dunce:

Not worried about the health benefits...moreso flavor. Seems like it might be a little sweeter and have a bit more natural flavor than beef, which would be cool.

I think I'll post this question in the Cooking Forum over on Pirate as well. :D

Ah. He was an older guy who's a tad overweight I believe, so I can understand his perspective. You and I don't quite have that issue.

when a buffalo gets intimate with a cow, the offspring is called "beefalo" according to trivia night at the bahh

what is there more of in france than there are candians in canada?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's awesome.

I know people run 2-cycle oil in 24v CTDs to help keep the VP44 lubed, but I never bothered.
I'm supposed to dump a quart or two of whatever motor/fuel/heating/cooking/hydrocarbon containing oil into the tank of my truck if I fill it with gasoline for the same reason.

I ran my 96 on 2-stroke mix for a couple miles one time but only put about half a gallon in the tank, and proceeded to fill it entirely with good gas as soon as I got to the next station.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just went out for a burrito with a guy from work. His idea, I drove. As we were pulling back in he goes 'so, uh, can you drop me in front of the door to the building? I gotta go.' This isn't the first time we've eaten the same food from the same place at the same time and he's nearly shat himself on the ride back to work. I've heard other people have issues with their food too. I wonder if their stomachs just aren't used to fresh greens :laugh3:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i said grains of sand.

but it was wrong.

apparently france doesnt have much sand
The Cote d'Azur does...

Is the answer something like restaraunts? France is known for food, wine, and fashion. I'm betting it's related to one of those.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's dumb.

Sam, did you guys weld the truck back together?

Probably just hasn't gotten used to it.

Remember when you puked up Town Spa?

Probably the same idea.
